the mother was a disgrace as a parent from what i have read,think this is going to be hard watching

the mother was an alcholic she seems like she is pissed or had some sought of stroke

walking aged 6 to school on his own rikki didnt stand a chance,god bless him

He was on the at risk register poor little mite, should've been taken into care.

She’s registered disabled but it looks like she’s either had a stroke or is heavily medicated 🤷‍♀️

I'm watching but I'm bracing myself to turn off. That poor child. Completely failed by all around him.

i know i cant be open minded about the mother i just cant she may not of killed him but she severley neglected all the children

only seen a small part of the dad hope to see more

It's just a sad and shocking case.
It could of been avoided if the neglect had been taken seriously and the children removed.
She even asked for him to go into care.

That mother is the most disgusting person , poor child didn't stand a chance . Her current husband seems a decent bloke but it begs the question how he could be with her . Totally subhuman.
So angry at how these children are totally failed by these inadequate useless parents .

couldnt agree more and i know they said the father was in prison years ago but that apart where the hell was he in all this

Failed by the parents but also social sevices. How many bloody times do we hear these poor children are neglected and abused but the bloody social workers do absolutely nothing. They need to be taken away and adopted by people who can love them. It makes me so angry.

The trouble is they are so blinded by keeping the kids with the parent it clouds their judgment

the whole sysrem needs an over hall and start by what is in the interest of the child,even baby P's mum was given more chances than can be counted because they believe the child is better with the mother than care or is it to keep the cost's down😕

Even at Watson's trial, Ruth's focus was on herself and her perceived sense of "it's not fair". She said it was "nice to see someone else in the box instead of me" and not that it was a relief to be close to justice for her murdered son.

She seemed totally focused on the way she was perceived by society and not on the awful death of her son.

Like a PP I found it strange that her new husband could fall in love with someone who has served time for child cruelty.

same as silly women marrying somebody on death row thousands of miles away and not forgetting our very oen lifer's getting married in yhe UK
