@TheArtfulBlogger I literally choked on my tea at that point. God love him. If I were (checks notes) 15 years younger I'd be on a plane to Oz quicker than he could do a shoey.

🤣🤣 I'm sure he will have a queue of ladies that see his lovely side. Shame Sam didn't!! But I think he was too mature for her, despite her thinking the opposite.

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 22/04/2022 21:26

@RainbowZebraWarrior

not on anything like that flower 😔. I’m practically a 🦕

if mn don’t sort the pm thing soon though, then I will be x 🌈

I’m finally catching up on the final ceremonies but finding it hard going. I find them (and the weddings) to be so tedious at best but I’m so distracted by how annoying Cody and Jack’s croaky voices are. They grate on me so much.

I always FF so much of the weddings and final vows. Right to the end. Also the dinner party episodes, I FF to them all arriving because anything before is just dull.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 23/04/2022 00:14

There is soooo muuuuuuccch sssllllooooo mootiooooon maybe fast forwarding the final ceremonies would get them to normal speed.

happinessischocolate · 23/04/2022 07:44

hopefully Jackson & Olivia split once he sees the footage of horrid olivia

No chance, he's gone over to the dark side now, and is as bad as his wife

Funny how Jack manages to defend Dom so well without needing to attack anyone, whereas Jackson has turned into a nasty little bitch.

Cravingsweets · 23/04/2022 08:01

He really has turned nasty. I was unpleasantly surprised by him at the final dinner party. They obviously think they're some kind of powerhouse together.

Yamyam13 · 23/04/2022 12:02

I felt like a disappointed mother when Jackson piped up like that.

Not sure if they would have agent/PR at the point of that being filmed, but if they did, maybe they advised Jackson to pipe up where possible to try and make them look more united & in the hop it would help to water down Liv's nastiness?

whoturnedthesunoff · 23/04/2022 12:59

For me it was her comment ( might have the words slightly wrong ) she said

"It's not a competition! But I've won ! "

She really does think she is Queen Bee and Jackson has made a huge mistake by morphing into the male version of her

Strugglingtodomybest · 23/04/2022 17:09

I've finally caught up!

This thread has been hilarious reading, thanks everyone 😂

So... I love Dom, Jack, Al, Dion, Selina, Antony and Brent, want Tamara, Liv, Jackson, Carolina and Sam get everything they deserve.

Cody and Dan, hmm, I kind of feel for both of them a little bit as Cody is a product of his trauma and Dan seems to be a little bit off in some way that I can't pinpoint.

I also quite Selin at times, but at others she's awful! I can't work her out.

Holly was great at the reunion dinner party, I was yelling, go Holly! at the TV.

Can.not.wait till Monday!

Strugglingtodomybest · 23/04/2022 17:10
  • quite like
happinessischocolate · 23/04/2022 18:25

^Al is just great. Never change, Al
Can't remember the exact comment but about Tamara keeping her nose out of things and he said "no pun intended" priceless
^ 😂

I've just rewatched the dinner party episode so I could see things like this again, it was even better 2nd time round, all the little comments from Al, Dan thinking he's going to put Mitch in his place and getting sent straight back where he came from, Tamara getting her comeuppance several times. Dom and Jack giggling together. And best of all noticing how nobody looked happy when Oblivia and Dickhead walked into the room.

The ixperts were talking about Oblivia and Jackson and said how quiet she was, she said nothing at the table at all, whilst accusing Dom of being boring and sucking the life out of the room 🤦‍♀️, and anyway the ixperts said maybe they have come to an agreement. Not sure what it was supposed to mean, but Jackson doesn't look even happy let alone loved up, he has his back to her all the time, bit weird for a couple who moved in together the day before. Could he be staying with her for the celebrity money side of being a couple from MAFS?

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 23/04/2022 19:00

Not sure about the money side for Jackson.

I reckon he is more in need of a decent hairdresser and a bit of pity.

First 20 minutes into the dinner part and wow, I forgot what a nasty bitch Sam is. I remember now how glad I was when she left. Those three blondes are like a little witches coven of women who think a lot higher of themselves than anyone else does of them. They’re all ugly, inside and out.
Can anyone Aussie MN’s say if Sam got much backlash after her time on the show?

Cocobeau · 23/04/2022 19:15

@happinessischocolate it’s certainly a bit odd how he’s apparently moved his whole life to be with someone he isn’t even certain he’s in love with yet (unless I just haven’t got to the point in this ep where he decides to finally say it). I don’t think Jackson the sweetheart protector he likes to make out.

TitsInAbsentia · 23/04/2022 20:04

I could only come to the conclusion that Jackson wasn't that nice in the first place, it was a facade, ooh look at me I dealt with all these issues and protected my family, I think it's given him a bit of a streak. May him and liverlips live unhappily ever after!

I can't wait for some of the horrible witches to get back out in the big wide world and realise how lucky they were with Al, Brent and even Dion (nothing bad about him, I just find him a bit odd!).

Cravingsweets · 23/04/2022 20:24

I just can't wait for everyone to see that Dom didn't "fashion a weapon" and wave it in Olivia's face. Jackson's a lost cause, I don't expect him to confront her or dump her, but I hope the experts give it to her with both barrells. And, for that matter, the rest of the women who failed, time and again, to correct Olivia.

PennyRoyal · 23/04/2022 22:30

Ok I've caved. I'm just about to watch the final episode on southhemitv.

I can't keep up with this thread on the "new" platform so I'm going to watch the last one, then binge Insta/Gossip pages.

I'll come back here next week after you guys have watched on Monday when hopefully Mumsnet will be more friendly!

VillaMia · 23/04/2022 22:36

After a week of being away with a dodgy TV & glitchy wifi, I’ve finally caught up. I had to resist looking on here too. It’s been a tough week 😆

Jack - he is just the most wonderful man. Imagine knowing that he would always have your back. That he would hold you and not try to fix you. Such acceptance. Love him!

In contrast, Jackson sold his soul for foof. The cost seems way too high and he is now as bad as that nasty, vindictive bitch of a ‘wife’.

The 3 witches are just vile. The ixperts see them and I reckon they are all going to get their arses handed to them on Monday’s episode. I cannot wait as seeing Tamara brought down by Brent, Ella & Mitch was a thing of beauty.

The good in people really does shine through, doesn’t it? Jack, Al, Ella, Selina, Brent and Dom are all beautiful people.

happinessischocolate · 24/04/2022 00:09

I knew Jackson reminded me of someone

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 24/04/2022 00:43

It may be an insult to Beaker but alas I also insulted Beaker on the last thread 😳 sorry.

I’m glad it isn’t just me that thought it…

We are moving house at the moment and like most people we cleared our calendar for the time surrounding the move. Who the hell schedules a move the day before filming of a TV show? People who want to be smug, that’s who!also aren’t Aussie pads by the beach expensive? Isn’t she still at Uni? How have they afforded that? My guess is they haven’t actually moved in together, maybe they’ve just rented an AirBnB for the week 😆

Yep.

I disliked her all along.

  • Mixed signals to Al, then getting huffy when he didn’t prince on her

  • deciding that because he kissed her she’d been assaulted?!

  • claiming she can’t live out her dreams because Al plays video games

  • the many, MANY toddler tantrums she had - all whilst claiming she was the mature one and Al was sooooooo immature she couldn’t handle it (despite him showing more emotional maturity than men 10 years his senior)

  • saying ‘I think all men are trash’ to her new husband on their wedding. Bizarre. Imagine is Al had said “I think all women are bitches”

then she came into the dinner party harking about ‘I’m Sam, not Sam and Al, and my voice won’t be silenced, I’m going to have my say” and it appeared ‘her day’ was to sit in a corner making bitchy remarks.

I strongly suspect the issue is, and always was, that Al inadvertently outshone her in terms of humour, decency, kindness and personality and she couldn’t stick that she wasn’t the one being fawned over by people. It’s why she tried to trash him at every opportunity.
