Ok here's what's happened. Just a heads up, if you're yet to watch the final episode don't read on. You have been warned. I will warn again SPOILERS. Don't blame me for learning something you're not yet ready for if you choose to read on. Ok now for the important stuff...
Mitch and Ella:
It's been revealed that after the show Mitch pretty much ghosted Ella and there's been speculation that Mitch and Tamara are in a relationship. The biggest goss? Apparently Ella has revealed that Mitch and Tamara were sleeping with each other during the show, possibly even before (they work in the same building)
Carolina and Daniel: are still together (since I last checked) and have moved in together. Yes he has met her son. I'll say more about Carolina below.
Dom and Jack. No they're not together however they remain very very close. I will say more about Dom below.
Andrew: has now changed his name to James and was so affected by his time on the show that he was admitted to a mental health facility and is now refusing to have anything to do with the show. The guy was an absolute dick but I respect him for not wanting his 15 minutes of fame while claiming to want to be left alone. That's the only thing I will respect him for.
Al: continues to be a legend living his best life. Yes he needs to mature but like a fine wine and good cheese he'll be fine.
Now for the stuff you're really here for...
Tamara: turns out she's just as bad as Olivia. A few people who grew up with her have said that she's always been a nasty bully. A former victim of hers wrote a post on the mafsau Reddit page saying how hard it was to see her on the show.
A week or so ago, Tamara, Kate, Carolina and Jessica went on a girls night out, they sent abusive phone calls to Dom, Ella and the So Dramatic podcast host Megan. Apparently Dom? is looking into criminal charges. There have been consequences for Tamara as she has now lost her job due to her behaviour. As for Carolina, she sent Ella a message saying how does it feel knowing Tamara has had her hand around Mitch's dick? Clearly trying to goad her.
Olivia: settle in ladies, I'm taking you on a wild ride...
Yes, Olivia has lost her job as a teaching assistant and driving instructor. She was also kicked out of uni for unprofessional conduct regarding the photo incident. She's currently applying for new jobs. However it was revealed that she didn't lose her job but was instead asked to resign.
Her and Jackson have moved in together (they live in the same region as me) turns out that Jackson is just as bad as Olivia. People who know him have come forward and said that he's nowhere near as nice as he made himself appear on the show. I'm not surprised by this, it raised my hackles when he said he was a defender of women. If you're a genuinely decent person why do you need to mention this? My dad and brother and other males I know don't go around talking about how they defend females. Why would they need to? They have nothing to prove. Sorry, just something I'm very sus about.
Both have blamed Olivia's behaviour on wait for it...the edit. Of course they did. But there are things that Olivia has done in real life that shows her behaviour on the show really was her genuine self. Here's what Olivia has done...
Remember the poo dress incident? Apparently Olivia was so proud of what she did that she would tell anybody and everybody. A former student of hers from the driving school came forward and spoke about her time with Olivia and how she was such a bad driving instructor as all she was interested in was talking about the dress incident and trying to get involved in this girls life as well as her friends.
It wasn't just one wedding Olivia was uninvited from but three. The mind boggles.
Ok, this bit is very serious. A former friend of Olivia's came forward with a very disturbing story. If you want the full story please listen to episode 161 of the So Dramatic podcast. It's well worth a listen but I will give the gist of the story here.
Olivia and her friend pretty much grew up together so they knew each other well and were close. After finishing year 12 (last year of school in Oz) they decided to go to Bali for schoolies. Just a quick explanation, schoolies is a holiday that school leavers go on to celebrate the end of their education. Traditionally this takes place on Queensland's Gold Coast but in the past 20 years or so Bali, Thailand and Pacific Islands cruises have become more popular. Anyway...they decided to go to Bali and while they were there her friend was raped and filmed by two guys. Instead of being supportive, Olivia told her that she could no longer be friends with her until she learned to respect herself. Yes she said that to a rape victim. Her own friend. Like I said listen to that episode.
People who know Olivia's family have said that Olivia did not look after her dad for seven years as the family hired a private nurse. In the seven years while supposedly "looking after her dad" she worked several jobs, travelled overseas, had three relationships two in which she became engaged (one of them she proposed to the guy just a few days after dating him) and was often seen out drinking and partying. All this while stuck at home looking after her dad... clearly can't keep up with her own lies.
After the show Olivia claimed that she received death threats however as far as I'm aware there's no evidence of this and Olivia did make a post about this on Instagram and if you watch it you can notice a slight smug smile on her face and you can see she's clearly not upset. She talks about how she can no longer leave her house and Jackson has to do her shopping for her. However a few nights later she, Jackson, Carolina and Dan were out partying and drinking cause you know she's too traumatised to leave her house.
Olivia has said she is over all the Dom stuff by continuously talking about Dom every chance she gets. So no different to the show. She has said everyone on the show hated Dom but people who work on the show have come forward (one of them being John) and said that Dom was lovely to work with and that it was Olivia who was the difficult one (surprise surprise).
After the show Dom had t-shirts made saying "My body my choice bitch" Olivia said she was offended by this as she felt Dom was appropriating women's sexual rights for her own ends. This coming from someone who shared photos of Dom to others. Let that sink in. The t-shirts are available for sale and 20% of the sales will be donated to the NSW and Queensland flood appeal. Clearly Dom gives no fucks about Olivia's silly claims.
Olivia was approached by someone from The Wash Online Instagram page when she was out one night with Jackson and Carolina/Dan she was asked a question about her time on the show and made a very glib statement about suicide and how she was so upset on the show she was going to throw herself off the balcony. When asked if she was serious she said no of course not. Those who worked on the show have said that not once did she ever show any signs of distress or ask for help in any way. Lastly the photo incident. Both Ella and Mitch have said they looked for Dom's images online as they wanted to see how easy it was like Olivia claimed. Both could not find anything as they would have needed to take a deeper dive. So Olivia's claim that she just Googled it was absolute bullshit. Dom's mum said that her daughter's account was shut down a few months before going on the show. So that's a very deep dive Olivia went on.
It wasn't just one photo that Olivia shared of Dom but several. It wasn't only the mafs group she shared with but she also shared them with Jackson's friends which leads me to believe he was way more involved.
