DP and I watched it till the bitter end in a 'Why Oh Why?' state of mind, like this planning our Points of View rants.

I mean, come on.

I admit I am partial to a bit of shite telly from time to time, if I’m in the mood, but this was just too annoying. And ludicrous, in parts.
I don’t think I’ll be back next week.

We changed to the sleep thing in the end.

Thing is I like GIno Fred Gordon, or whatever that is called.

This just seemed too scripted.

It was a really bizarre programme, kind of like a Poundland Apprentice with loads of really irritating contestants.

Gordon is good at cooking and shouting at people so he should stick to that rather than this nonsense.

It's all so weird. They're all brownie and cocktail sellers why are they cooking massive meals and slicing salmon.

Exactly - the tasks are completely irrelevant to what the contestants will be doing if they win the show. And it’s all so staged. And a rip-off of the Apprentice, right down to aerial shots of London at judging time.

I agree jay55 a lot of the contestants are as bad if not worse then Gordon, ego wise!

I agree Inchail. I only watched because BBC has pretty much managed to avoid Ramsay until now and I wondered what he'd had to do to become acceptable to them. 1. Borrow an acceptable format from a successful BBC programme. 2. Have quite a lot of Botox. 3. Swear a little less. 4. Humiliate some young people 5. Not be GregG Wallace. Sorted.

I went to London & went to GR's Bar and Grill - sushi & steak as options so I am not sure he can criticise someone for not having a vision for a restaurant. because seafood and steak . He has done a quiz programme etc - it just looks like he wants to be on the TV whatever.
