Moon Knight - new Marvel series SPOILERS!

Hi, couldn't see another thread about this.
So the first episode of Moon Knight, the new Marvel tv series was released today - what did everyone think?
I really enjoyed it. I live Egyptian mythology; thought Oscar Isaac was really good, loved the car chase, he does bumbling idiot very well.
New episodes every Wednesday.

I'm going to really pissed off if that's the end for Steven. He's my favourite aspect of Marc's personality.

Wow. Just caught up on all 5 episodes and my word, isn’t Oscar Isaac amazing? At no point did I stop and think that it was just the one actor, he plays them so perfectly.

Anyway, who else spotted Jake?!?!

I commented to DH that I could turn the sound off and still always be absolutely sure of whether I was looking at Steven or Mark. It's not quite the feat of Tatiana Maslany's performance in Orphan Black, but it's amazing.

OI has to get some recognition for this. I am so invested in the relationship between Steven and Mark. And that in itself is amazing, that I'm invested in the relationship between a man and the alternate personality he made up as a mental shield.

Yes, spotted Jake, not sure if just the once or twice, in the office with Harrow and on the boat when Stephen was beating up the baddies.

I was annoyed that we didn't see Jake, but then I rewatched a clip and I can now see that we did see Jake, albeit briefly.

I need to join this thread - I am absolutely loving this series. I’ve really enjoyed all of the marvel TV series so far - they are spending their money well.

I found episode 5 really moving, and I do hope it’s not the end of Steven, who was such a fun and sweet character.

I'm really curious about Jake and whether or not we'll actually see him acknowledged this season. He must exist, given the murders on the rooftop neither Steven or Marc remembered, and also the person that asked out the woman in the museum which we know wasn't Steven and seems unlikely to have been Marc... Plus I do think the version with the plaster on his nose in Harrow's office was probably Jake - and of course the third sarcophagus. I wonder if the reveal of Jake will be a cliffhanger for the end of the season?

Oh yes and if Steven is really gone I'll be gutted - he's such an endearing character and much-needed to balance the gloominess of Marc. Steven embracing Marc and telling him that it wasn't his fault was incredibly moving.

If you watch the scene with “Dr” Harrow and Marc with a busted nose again his accent is different - it’s more “New Yoik” and his phrasing is very much not Marc. I think the mention of “the little boy” just brought Jake raring to the forefront to protect everyone.

Chiswick, Jake is another personality, an even more violent one - we saw hints of him in episode 3 when neither Marc or Steven said they beat up the men in Cairo. I also suspect that Jake beat up the men on episode 1 in the Alpine village, and that it was him drinking in the hotel room in Cairo.

I had assumed that the semi naked reflection in the mirror in Cairo was Steven but maybe not?

Steven was in the mirror but I think it might have been Jake getting drunk - I’m less convinced that Marc would drink and trash a hotel room?

I am really enjoying this series, and hope it's not a one season wonder.

Oscar Isaacs is brilliant (and yes, very easy on the eye), and I hope we haven't seen the last of Steven Grant of the gift shop.
