My 2yo and 4yo are absolutely obsessed with the TV show Chip and Potato.
I don't mind it, there's worse they could be watching and thankfully it's nipped the Peppa pig phase in the bud.
However I find it really irritating when all of the adults in the show tell Chip that her cuddly toy (I know it's meant to actually be a mouse) is silly and she is too big for it now. I mean she's meant to be 4?! You wouldn't tell a 4yo that their favourite cuddly toy is silly and they're too big for it, this particular aspect of the show doesn't sit right with me.
I don't get why it's such a repeated thing throughout every episode, it gets on my nerves because I don't want it being drilled into my children's heads that it's silly for them to have a cuddly toy.
I know I'm probably reading into it too much, but my 4yo in particular absolutely soaks up things she's seen on TV.
