I'm just catching up on this series - just watched the Wales episode.

Can I ask, as with other " reality " tv shows - are the competitors told / steered to do things badly, for effect?

There are so many glitches / very obvious errors in things like know your audience, look at what the market wants/expects etc that are completely ignored...
Let alone the earlier episodes with 'artic' etc.

Is it a set up?

I've not been following the threads here fully so sorry if it's been mentioned already but who is the so-called bully on the show that Navid and Harry accused? There were quite a few articles a few weeks ago but no name was mentioned. Was it Sophie?

Not sure.
But it was probably Sophoe, she seemed to be the one who didnt really get on with the other candidates. Also everyone else seems to get on really well.

It’s very jarring when you watch the old series at the same time. There were actually credible candidates who were much less glamorous and couldn’t do hair/make up but could sell etc. Also more of a mixture of ages. Alex in season 4/5 was 24 and that was extremely young st the time. Now everyone is 24 and under!

I so want Akeem to stay in because I want to see how he will cope with the interviews!

I thought the pink flamingo was rubbish but I would have liked to know what actually sold! No way was that owl handmade by hand ✋

I thought Akshay should go. I felt a bit sorry for Stephanie being told to speak and then told off by Kathryn. Maybe they should have rehearsed a little scenario together. They had several hours to prepare.

I loved that section on You're Fired recently that was "designers' poker faces". Hilarious!

I haven't been watching this properly so there's clearly back history, but in the episode last night the PM made the best choices he could with the products. They lost because they didn't get the ring - absolutely not his fault- and because the massager was so badly presented- partly but definitely not all his fault.

I was kind of surprised because he seemed to be the only one out of the lot of them who understood that getting the right products was the key to success.

Has anyone else noticed how Brittany waves as she leaves the boardroom?

Unfortunately hes been in the losing team a lot and in the board room too many times. Although on this specific task he didnt deserve to go, now that the series is coming to the end, they start taking into account how the person is overall as a candidate. So his previous losses were also taken into account.

Who saw the You're Fired skit with Karthik- my mouth dropped open- when he said to Alanna he couldn't remember her name

I didn't think Akshay was the one at fault.in that task, but I think having Katherine and Stephanie in later episodes will make good TV as they are clear rivals for the prize and I think that's why they were kept in.
