The drama follows kate as she tries to work out who the illicit lover is , as more secrets and lies are revealed

Hmmm To be this messed up Jake must have a huge back story , not sure how one more episode will unravel all that
I can't think who Sean is having it away with and coral girl is such a naff alias name isn't it

Sean is just annoying. The actor is miscast.Was the character in the book Irish?
He supposedly went to uni with them.
What’s wrong with Irish unis?

Argh. See the thing I loved about Chloe was that I didn't much care about the destination, I just loved the journey.

Who the fuck is Chloe?!? I haven't worked out which grey bloke is married to which blonde wife yet (3 in) I'm not even sure who owns each kid tbf...

Well it’s keeping us on our toes

My lovely DH suggested we watch this in bed tonight no, not that , just because I'm cold which means he can explain it to me tomorrow, because frankly I'd rather [they all die of something painful] have an extra hour of sleep... This has to be one of the worst "whodunsomeshit" that I've ever seen, and I've watched some shit in my time.

Maybe Sean was brought up in GB with Irish parents or just chose an English uni? Or they could all have gone to Trinity or UCD or Queens? Perhaps he studied horticulture / botany / landscape architecture at uni? It’s not too much of a stretch.

Ha, sorry!! I was referring to a previous thread about the recent BBC drama Chloe (which is an excellent watch).

If Sean was brought up in the UK he would have a regional appropriate accent.🤔 My DH ex was from NI, she lost her accent quite quickly.

Kate is married to sean have Lucy and Daniel

Izzy is single

Jenny is with Alastair and has Jake the nutter

Rowan is with russ and have Odette and now preg after many Mc

Not necessarily. My DC has a very strong regional accent, despite moving away at aged 11 and it’s a completely different accent to me and his dad. Other friends have kept accents - including one with an Irish accent picked up from his parents despite never having lived there. My FIL left NI in the early 1960s and has never lost his accent.

I moved 25 miles from my home town (still the same county) and my accent has changed quite a bit

I doubt accents will matter - they're all over the place in this anyway.

I’m looking forward to that - loved the book so will be interesting to see how it adapts to the small screen. Highly recommend Louise Candlish as an author.

I bought DH Agatha Christie "Death on the Nile" today - there's a character in the book that isn't in the film or tv adaptation...
I've realised he doesn't "see" a book in film format in the way I do, I thought everyone used their imagination and "fleshed out" characters in a book...
