CBeebies on Virgin - is anyone else worried that it switches to BBC4 at shutdown??!

Hi

My Cbeebies changes to BBC4 after shut down at 7pm. While I find BB4 a good and interesting watch, I am a little concerned it is a bit scary and extreme should it ever jump on to the screen for my unsuspecting child! At the moment one of us sits with him to watch in the night garden (probably going to get a thread all of it's own!)but I just though I'd mention it. Does anyone else have this happen?

That sounds a bit odd- mine are too old for CBeebies, but I know that CBBC just changes to a Virgin logo about the channel having closed down for the night. I'll check CBeebies (but may not remember tonight!)

perhaps you're watching it on the bbcfour site (107 i think) try it on the dedicated cbeebies site (7something)

Hi southeastastra - I watch on 702.. my cbbc changes to bbc3!

We get that (on Virgin) - can't say I find 7pm viewing on BBC3 or 4 particularly alarming.......

Alternatively when I remember (most of the time ) - I just have an "autochange" set up for 7pm to change to a more suitable channel (radio/top gear etc etc)

DOesn't the watershed still exist? SHould do on BBC4 I would have thought, ie they can't put on 20 Greatest Severed Head videos till later.
FWIW we are on Virgin too and it just goes to the Virgin this-channel-is-not-on-air logo.

just reviving this as have recently changed to virgin. i left a charming scene of 4yo slumped in front of cbeebies and wandered off to cook. i returned to find him glued to the news.

is there some way of changing the settings? otherwise i'll just leave it on jetix or porn channels.
