Our Girl Thread 63 "Our Girl Revisited and then what?"

We started to follow "Our Girl" back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of "Soldier Soldier" to keep up our military terminology and galloped through three series of "The Musketeers". Of course, there is a definite connection between "Our Girl" and "The Musketeers" in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. We are now revisiting series 2 of Our Girl and are trying to decide what to watch after that.

Kiki has sussed out how she feels about Elvis

I always giggle at the "the boss got out his infra red device"

"He went off!" that is definitely an in-joke from series 1 and Zombie Our Girl.

Funny how when Elvis says Charlie it sounds fine but it got on my nerves in later series when Georgie almost whined it when she was trying to get himmtondo what she wanted

Elvis doesn't just shin up drainpipes but can scale walls too.

Georgie cranks the gate open with Kiki's help.

Handy that the terrorists have to break off for prayers.

Nifty footwork there Elvis.

Meanwhile, back at the first location, the lads check things out and discover evidence that Georgie has been there.

Shame the ladies couldn't scale the walls and make a run for it too.

Georgie now turns spy and collects evidence to help the cause later. Elvis is a but if an acrobat too by the looks of things

Georgie looks for clues in the ops room.

He forgets himself and says "her" instead of "the primary"

I knew that photo would be important the first time I saw it.

Elvis heads towards the vehicle to put on a tracker, then has to hide underneath. Nifty bit of work there.

Could never - later - understood why she didn’t recognise it.

Narrow escape there for Georgie and Kiki. Abu is hell bent on killing them

Abu and his mates discover Georgie and Kiki have escaped out of their cell. They are thrown back in and Abu shows how he is converted. Totally mad.

I like this scene too out in the desert with the boys.

She never seems to know when to shut up. She is quite good at goading Jason/Abu.

Georgie may not have been too bright where she hid the dog tags but she's got her act together copying Elvis with the infra red device, ie a TV or video remote.

She hears the drone again and whips out the remote control. Dangerous removing the cord from her trousers. They would definitely fall down.

Can’ really argue with Abu’s assessment - Georgie is quite sinful, when you think about it…

Georgie gets all clever with the TV remote. Thank heavens for modern technology

The twirly finger. Love it! Have watched this bit loads of times.
