I really like Kye- he has improved more than most of them, and has learnt to skate. I think that should be acknowledged. Won't be though.

In fairness, and I have not seen tonight yet, just because they had dance experience does not mean they have not worked their asses off. It makes a refreshing change tbh that it is not going to be the most popular underdog winning, who is usually the weaker skater, there have been a few of them in the past and it happens on Strictly all the time.

I think she only tested positive today. Stephen Mulhearn is in hospital. Don't think there was time to find a replacement.

It gave Kye and Connor the opportunity to show how far they've come and finish on a real high. They both had a few obstacles to overcome unlike the other three. I'm glad they had the skate off.

Kye was undermarked again tonight I thought. He always does more jumps and solo skating than Brendan or Regan, and when they all danced together in the beginning and Brendan fell it definitely felt unfair that they marked him higher than Kye. I think Kye's got the TV bug now though, so we'll be seeing him on every reality show going

I thought Connor was better than Kimberley in the skate off also thought she was overmarked and not the best in the dance off.

I haven't watched yet, but for me the year Joe Swash won, that was a case of the popular underdog imo and was not the result I expected that year.
Not the winner for me anyway.

Agreed. Was never that into Brendan on Strictly, but have found I’m really enjoying watching him skate.

I did too. I think she can skate pretty well but they’ve done too much lifting with her just because they could. And obviously she’s a dancer, so can strike the poses while being carried. If she’d been allowed to skate alone more I think I’d be more impressed with her.

Connor was the opposite- not especially graceful but a hell of a trier. He always pushed himself so much. Too much really- and that was his downfall really as he was always hanging on by his fingertips to hold the tough moves they’d given him together, and didn’t look graceful.

Kye was just a dude. I’ve never seen a contestant enjoying himself as much. And he should have been above Brendon in the group skate.

Connor, Kye and Regan all seem like lovely lads. I only have DD and generally wanted a DS but they make me want to mother them! (I must be getting old )

Kye has consistently entertained me. Once he relaxed into damn it I will probably be in the skate off, I think he started to enjoy himself. I mostly fast forward the talky bits, but did see one night they asked his brother about what he thought. He was just so proud of him, it was lovely to see and hear.

There is an honesty to the pair of them.

The shocked face when she won the individual skate just smacked of insincerity. We know you are good. You know bloody fine you are good. You stood as much chance as anyone.

I don’t care for modesty that is more false than my da’s wallies.

I’d have felt better about her doing that pulled fist thing and going yasssss.

He was great, I really got to like him. I remember him in the Olympics, always smiling.
