Just starting a thread ready for tonight's show....

The backing skaters, clapping and screaming are really starting to annoy me now

I like that Bez skates on his own so as not to drag his partner down

I like Sally but she should have gone tonight

Don't think it that good this year barely recognised half of them.

@ImJustMadAboutSaffron - you're probably right, she wasn't a great judge but I enjoyed seeing more of her on screen when she was teaching them and explaining the moves etc and when she sat with them during the show. It's that part of her being on screen that I miss!

I think it should have been Bez and Sally in the skate off, and Sally should have gone. Bez might be crap, but at least he skates solo, Sally really doesn’t. She’s lovely, but she’s no skater!

They really overmarked/over praised Sally tonight - she was only on her own for a couple of seconds of the challenge, yet Kimberley got criticised for slight wobbles in hers, while what she was doing was a million times more complex than Sally . She should really have been in the skate off, instead of Kye.

I've just caught up. It's getting to the point where poorer skaters are staying at the expense of better ones who aren't as popular or well known. I just hope we aren't going to see Sally or Bez attempting the Bolero.

Sorry @ilovesooty the thought you put in my mind of Bez doing Bolero did make me laugh, obviously from entertainment not skating excellence

Kye was under-marked in comparison to Sally, thought judges would have sent him home but Liberty's tumble and comparative hesitancy cost her.

I'd love to see Dan back as a professional.

Vanessa's got covid so Brendan will be skating with Brendyn.

Not many lifts for Brendan this week then!!!

I think my life would be complete if I saw Bez doing the bolero. 🥳

But of course you are right. It would be rotten if Regan or Brendan were ever robbed of a shot due to that.

Still think this is Regan’s to lose. He is an absolute joy to watch.

Have just caught up. The two who should have been in the skate off went straight through, it’s beyond a joke now. Thought Liberty was very gracious.

Liberty was just lovely I thought. Sweet and gracious and a yap 😊

Sally is such a poppet and seems utterly delightful, but she should have been gone.

Really looking forward to Brendan this week.

I find him entertaining, more than Sally, or Liberty. I really look forward to seeing him each week and I love his enthusiasm and the fact that he just gives it a go, knowing he's shit, and is always smiling.

The bottom line is that it is an entertainment show with a public vote, so we watch what the public want.

I agree @ISpyCobraKai - I've not voted for him but he makes me smile. I'd like him to stay until Brendan, Regan and Kimberley are all that's left.

Better skaters will go over him, but then you could say that of Sally.
It's not the show that everyone goes in order!
I'm just really enjoying it, and seeing him in it, we need more smiles.

Exactly, but who cares if they aren't?

I absolutely love Regan, I think he is a joy to watch.

Kye is very good but just doesn't have the public support, it seems. I like both Bez and Sally. I think they are both doing their best, but are, by a long chalk, the weakest in the competition.

Liberty was so gracious and left with a smile on her face. Well done to her.
