Ds jenn Townsend , morecombes new family liaison officer is immediately thrown into the deep end when a body washes up in the bay on her first day in the job

Will it be the same without morgen Christie aka lisa Armstrong

Jenn has relocated from Manchester with her 2 children , moving in with her partner and his daughter

"Bollocks" is a word they use a lot in this! Even the teenage girls were saying it last week, not very likely.

I'm from just the other side of the bay from Morecambe and we use the word bollocks all the time, we definitely used it a lot in secondary as long as the teachers weren't around

I'm really struggling to like Jen, she is so needlessly confrontational and rude - when her new bf was trying to help she was so dismissive of him and she is constantly just saying "I can't talk about work" when he's not asking for specifics just an idea of what is stressing her out/causing her to be so snappy or how he can help as a professional who is trying to support his students, many of whom are involved.

I found Jen obnoxious too. She lashes out at her partner so spitefully then asks, when he's leaving, where are you going. There was so much shouting and arguing and sulking across the peace, in the family they were all in pain but had so little care for one another. It all became draining samey. And I'm tired of stroppy teens, stomping about with faces like slapped arses. They're not all like that.

I don’t think she would have been able to overcome a strapping boxer unless she surprised him from behind with a very hard strike.

I think it is someone else. And I think it must have been a bloke given his injuries.

Jenn is so annoying, she virtually told Chris she didn't want to continue and then asks where's he's going when he leaves !

Can someone clarify for me please about the friend (Ritchie?) who was sitting on the sofa at Mirium's house when the FLOs called asking to have a word in private, and she said it's ok, you can talk in front of him, he's like family.
Who is he? Was he the guy who had a showdown with the boxing club owner when he collected his things in a binbag? And was he also the guy right at the end who bought chips for the girl who deleted the detective's message. She was a boxer too, wasn't she, and the last one to see Saif alive?
Sorry, I have a terrible memory for faces and although I'm enjoying the series, the latest episode didn't grip me!

No, Richie didn’t have the showdown in the gym with the black bag. That was Saif’s sparring partner.

The sixth former son looks like a 40 year old man. And there is zero chemistry between Jenn and Chris.
