Watching this on Sky Arts when I can.
Made it the 80's I think?
Can't believe how good this is, so clever.

Ruth Rendell, Catherine Cookson, Yes, Minister - this old stuff is soooooo much better than anything I've seen in the last 10 years on British TV.

Anyone got any other similar gems?

I remember the lamb dinner one - so clever.

Tenko is brilliant. I watched the re-run of Bad Girls the women's prison drams that was very good.

The flypaper is still the creepiest of the Dahl tales by far. Have been enjoyng them on sky arts, however the US ones aren’t great.
Loved other 80’s stuff such as She devil and day of the triffids.

Love Tales of the Unexpected, and Ruth Rendall ,
Armchair thriller, was another good one.

Lamb to the Slaughter is absolute genius!

And the one about the abusive husband and the lift!

I am obsessed with this show!!!
Some are so awful and some are mind bendingly good.

The one with Brian Blessed as an over projecting police detective is incredible.

Roald Dahl's books for adults are good.

The daughter with anaesthetic leprosy was a twist in the tail. My favourite was The Great Switcheroo - brilliant!

I just like looking at the fashions and decor. Remember it well.

truly heart warming. very sweet.

Tales of the Unexpected seemed to get stars of the time as guests in one story. I recall Telly Savalas was in one.
