Anyone rewatched The Good Wife?

Watching The Resident. The writing just isn't good but I love Matt Czuchry. Had a look and he hasn't done anything else in recent times, seems a waste. Loved him Gilmore Girls and The Good Wife.

Anyway reminded me how great The Good Wife was (not sure I could handle the Will storyline again!) And wondered if it stands up to a rewatch?

He stars in The Resident, which is still going! It's on season 5 now I think.

I rewatched GW and really enjoyed it but Will storyline made me so stressed when I knew it was coming Sad

Not rewatched it but honestly the Will storyline broke me! Never been so upset at a characters death before!

I'm on maternity leave now so might rewatch actually if its available anywhere! If I do i'll let you know if it stands the test of time Grin

I’ve been thinking of rewatching. It’s one of the few series I watched all the way to the end. I lost interest in the spin off, even though I did love Diane.

DH came in just after Will died and I was literally sat with my mouth wide open.

Argh! Didn't know it had been taken off Prime. That probably makes my decision for me.

@Hugasauras I'm watching the resident at the moment. I usually love medical dramas too but the fact I'm on Mumsnet at same time says it really... Not very engaging.

I liked the Good Fight and loved some moments in it. I thought it wasn't consistently great but loved what it was trying to do.

Absolutely worth another watch! Its on the Alibi channel on Sky at the moment and I'm on Series 6

Definitely the worst TV death for me too. I was angry as well as sad! I've checked and I can't find it anywhere. Will have to try something else!

Yes I did. The Will thing was still very upsetting but the end of the whole thing bugged me a lot less the second time round.

I am enjoying, I'm obviously very late watching this, there are a lot of episodes, Mad men is good, that might be still on Prime

Mad Men is one of my all time favourite series. Liked scandal at first but got lost somewhere season 5. Might try picking it up again.

I really enjoyed Scandal. Also Madam Secretary & Suits.
I've never got into Mad Men although everyone raves about it so maybe I need to give it another go.
I couldn't watch Good Wife for ages after Will's death.

I'm rewatching it on Alibi; coming towards the end of S6.
It is still good (it's a well-written show) but it did go off the boil a bit in later seasons.

I've saved the latest season of The Good Fight for after I've finished rewatching The Good Wife, as I though it might be confusing to watch them concurrently.

I love it, finding something new in the later series.

Will's death was like Bambi's mother for me. I sobbed buckets 😢
