He talks like a threat is OK and quite normal... it worked.

I was struck by that too. That was his excuse! Like everyone would go ‘oh yes, ok, it’s perfectly normal and understandable to physically threaten your partner to get them to do what you want’. Unbelievable.

The fact that his threats had an effect seems to have been treated by him as a justification. He rather doesn't see how psychotic that is.

The police officers are doing an amazing job. However, I'm so sad that it seems the neighbours have reported many times to social services and police but nothing was done and they weren't even on the radar. I'm feeling really emotional about it, probably because I grew up with domestic violence. The neighbours video of Kane screaming at the door to be let in, reminds me of what I heard and saw every Friday night as a child. Terrifying.

I disagree that he’s out of control, if he was out of control he wouldn’t just be treating women and babies like this. He’s an inadequate little runt who uses his rage to control people.
Much of what he’s saying is a script that he is acting out. He’s not lost his shit at all in the interview if he was out of control he would have.
