Anyone watching? I'm onto episode 5 and I'm enjoying it, though I'm sure there's been no Miss Fix in other adaptations I've seen, and I'm also sure an Indian princess figured in it at some point!

For those who have watched Ep 7 and 8.

I posted this as a separate thread, but it hasn't had any responses, so I wonder if anyone here has any ideas? Hopefully this isn't too spoilery.

In the Wild West episode (episode 7) Abigail tries to send two telegrams. Only one was sent before the wire was cut.

Did we ever find out who the second telegram was for? I can't think who else she could have wanted or needed to send a telegram to, other than the one that got through.

I'm starting to think it was rather sloppy writing to indicate that there was trouble coming to town, which is basically what the telegraph wire operator said, but that had surely already been established.

I watched the final episode hoping to find out who the other telegram was intended for/what the message said, but it wasn't addressed.

Just finished this last night and ideally enjoyed it. Full of fun and adventure.

I have just finished watching this, a bit late to the party! But just had to say how much I enjoyed it. I want to read the book now although I’m sure it won’t be anything like this series. I’m excited that there is a second series planned as I really like the characters and want to know what happens next.

@SkepticalCat I thought may be the second telegram was to tell her dad not to tell anyone, but it was never sent so their lives were at risk again.

I loved the series, I actually put my phone down for entire episodes and that is high praise that is not often dished out.

When Phileas was doing his heartfelt defence of the Indian guy, DH knocked something over and I just about jumped in the air, I was so engrossed.
