Does anyone else watch this show?

I love it, but nobody seems to know about it!

But it wouldn't be authentic. Madison and Kevin had a one night stand from which she got pg, they weren't a couple in love or even a couple, but Kevin wanted kids (as explored in his previous relationship with a partner who didn't) so he just went in for it in a "see where it goes" kind of way. Madison knew that he wasn't completely/truly into her romantically and (bravely, I think) called it off due to that. I also think she felt the relationship wasn't really on equal terms, whereas seeing her with the new guy, he looks genuinely besotted with her and she him unlike with Kevin.

One thing I wonder about--how come Rebecca never seems to have any friends? Jack has friends, Kate has friends, Jack has Miguel, Kevin is popular, etc. But Rebecca, never seems to have gal pals.

Very true! she has none in the storyline! just her family.

I like having one episode a week, but I still like watching TV the traditional way. I never do the (revolting expression) "bingeing on box sets".

Didn't Rebecca have friends when she was singing at the the bar? Until Jack punched one of her band members

I think re Rebecca & friends that her confidence was completely knocked when Jack died. She struggled in the job interview and it was only Randall's intervention that got her that job in the end. It seems that she has settled for a quiet life with Miguel. All her younger ballsy traits seem to have disappeared - unless it's singing related, she was happy to get up on karaoke with Kate at the retreat.

So it's that, plus possibly the writers didn't want to shoehorn friends in for Rebecca. Miguel counts as Rebecca's "others" outside the family. TBH I wouldn't be that interested in Rebecca's friends anyway. My favourite character is Kevin, he's complex even though he can come across as shallow, and he's been on more of a journey than the others. Also he adds a lot of the humour. After that Kate and Toby, or Kate and Kevin, then young Rebecca and Jack (although after his death was revealed, everything is tinged with sadness seeing them together). I really liked Randall and Beth back in the William days but Randall is so heavy going now.

Never heard of caboose, and for a moment I seriously wondered if I had previously known the name for the last carriage on a train and forgotten too!

They were with their triplet for nine months. Rebecca carried him for nine months. And they had to go straight to channeling their love in another way. No space for grief or to acknowledge the absence. They should have been allowed that as well.

Oh I really agree with this. While what they did for Randall was a beautiful gesture, and no doubt changed his life for the better, Jack seemed able to replace his grief with new love. It must have been a thousand times harder for Rebecca, and for Kevin and Kate who automatically turn to each other in hard times. They've explored Randall dealing with his trauma, but not the others.

I think Kevin is an outstanding character- he would have married Maddison because he is a good person, but she would never have been a Big Love like Sophie was. Think I said it earlier, but him saying maybe his children are going to be the big loves of his life really struck me; I felt like that when I was pregnant with DS, single, and although I've since met and married my Big Love, DS was my first.

When Rebecca was searching for the word for the last carriage, I was saying to myself ‘brake van’ and patting myself on the back that I knew the terminology! Ho hum

Yep, I felt like I had Alzheimer's too! Even when she came up with it I didn't feel any better. I though she meant the buffet car.

Seen episode 2. No Kevin 😭😬 more screen time to Kevin and less to old Rebecca please!!!!! Although the weird dinner was a bit funny and we find out Nicky's future. Won't spoil it if people haven't seen it yet. The whole Deja and Malik storyline is boring. More Kevin please!!!!!!!

Love TIU, nobody I know seems to watch it. Hate Randall, he's such a moan. Dislike Kate, she's also a whinge, and like PP, dislike Kevin because of what the actor did to Crishell.

Yes, I can’t see past Justin Hartley now and how he treated Chrishell.

I think Malik is supposed to be a version of Randall isn't he? Every storyline mirrors another so I think Malik is one of Randall's alternate futures had he not been adopted.
