Did any one watch it.
Is it true to the original?
I have vague memories of the film, think david niven was in it.

Bit of a spoiler alert question (maybe someone could send me an answer via DM to avoid revealing too much). After the pardon in episode 5, how did they get hold of the money to carry on traveling? Did the bank suddenly decide to make it available after all?

Watched the first episode and decided it wasnt for me.

David Tennant is an excellent actor. I don't even like Dr Who, but he made that worth watching. I would have loved to have seen him in Hamlet. I loved Casanova.

I really enjoyed it - in fact I think it was the best thing on TV this Christmas. Yes, it is not exactly true to the book but I think it is the better for it. I loved that they rewrote it to have a woman in a strong role.

I did see him in Hamlet, he was brilliant. (John Simm was quite good in the role too a few years later).

I became quite obsessed with this series and binged it all. I thought it was fab. It seems like Marmite, luckily I love Marmite.
