I know I’m really late to the game but Ted Lasso

I don’t particularly like sport based tv shows but I accidentally started an episode, dropped the remote on the floor and due to sciatica was trapped watching it 😂

It’s so so great! I completely love it, Rebecca reminds be of a dear friend which I love and the Christmas episode has made me cry.

Am I just high on painkillers or is it universally agreed that it’s great!

Actually, thinking about it, do Brits understand why these jokes are funny? Omg, are we even laughing about the same things???? 😲 What are y’all finding funny about Ted Lasso? I’m suddenly tripping over this realization!! Is this a two dimensionally funny show? Is it brilliant in a whole other dimension I hadn’t even appreciated??? Are you all laughing at Americans

I think there are some jokes that we just don’t notice. But a lot of it is laughing at Ted and his over the top ways.

It is just perfect TV. Trying is also great - it's different to TL but has a similar feel good / decent people vibe.

I loved Trying too. I think that and Ted Lasso are the best things to watch on Apple TV+.

DH and I are four episodes in and I am absolutely in love with it! I’ve always liked Jason Sudeikis from SNL but he is pure brilliance in this.

I started watching last week and I absolutely bloody love it. Still on series one.

We've been having a very stressful time as a family and watching this series has been such a tonic. It's just so joyful.

Roy Kent should have his own spin off series - he is so fantastically funny and likeable. I don't know the actor but he brilliant.
