I stumbled upon it and love it! Have always admired Melanie Lynskey and Christina Ricci, but I think the younger cast are outstanding.

I want to talk theories!

I think Julia Jones who was recently in the new Dexter could make a good older Lottie. She is 40 unbelievably!

I'm only part way through the series but really enjoying it so far. Will come back and read properly when I've finished!

Loved it so much. Christina Ricci is mind-blowing. I have no words for how much I simultaneously adore with all my heart and fear Misty!

I have a theory: the girl strung up and drained of blood I think might not be pit girl. I think it might be Jackie.

I think it may still be Lottie in the pit. The coach said something about deer shedding their antlers? So maybe they turn on Lottie? And maybe they are rescued right then... which could be why she wants revenge.

Were there only 10 episodes in the series? If so, I've now watched them all & really enjoyed them but now need season 2!

S2 is meant to be hopeful sometime end of 2022

I've just finished watching YJ and absolutely loved it. So many questions, so many stories to continue. I can't wait for S2, I read it may be released later this year.

Jumping on - the girl in the pit and the one strung up are definitely the same person - when they're dragging her to the tree you can see the hole in her foot from whatever those prongs were at the bottom of the pit that went through her. I just can't work out who it was. Def not Jackie. Could be Lottie and someone else is pretending to be her in the present and fucking with their heads?

The girl that fell in the pit is quite tall with long dark hair so it could be Lottie. But I would assume not if Lottie is the leader of the cult behind the murder of Travis and kidnapping of Natalie in the present day. There is another girl with long dark hair who’s name escapes me. Could be her?

I grew to really dislike Shauna in present day. She didn’t seem to give a shit that she’s murdered an innocent man. What do people think happened to the baby? Nobody has mentioned it in present day. Also I seem to remember Tai saying to Shauna something like Natalie is the reason that they are all alive so to cut her some slack. So it seems that Natalie is responsible for saving them.

I assume she miscarried the baby as they don't mention it - if a still birth I think they may mention it

No it’s not the daughter (don’t they only have one?) as she is only 16.

3 get rescued with a 9mth who gets adopted and no one says who is the mum under a pact

Thing I found really unsettling is that I couldn’t really get a handle on who exactly had been stranded - obvs you had the main characters but there were more girls there, some you would get a clear view of their faces once but wouldn’t see them again, other times there would be a big event where good expect everyone to be there but there would only be the main characters…. Really weird and spooky

I enjoyed it, thought it started really good and then went a bit downhill though glad we found out what happened to Jackie(though its not like she was locked out if it was that bloody cold i would hav just gone back inside)..I also thought it was Jackie's dying dream(laura Lee was there so not real)and who was the man in the back that she saw??
A few things annoyed me..the title music,the fact Adam died and how little shauna cared,Natalie seemed the most together and capable of the girls yet was the complete opposite in thr present and I didn't really like the character(though think it was mainly juliette lewis I disliked)

Oh and Jackie dies after being outside with no fire yet natalie,Travis and his younger brother are all outside too..we know two of those survived!

Very late to this but the last episode was disappointing. I don't mind some things being left open-ended for a new series but it answered nothing from the opening scene of episode 1. Too much was left unanswered and I felt a bit cheated.

Did I imagine it or did thry say /read on mn that s2 would be out October .

No confirmed return date yet I don’t think. But I believe they started filming in summer?
