Succession First-timer [Season 2]

I'm watching Succession for the first time, and finished the Hungary episode in season 2, and it's killing me that everyone is so cruel to Tom! Why has Shiv even married him? He's competely lovely, if a bit of an ass, and I just realised at the end that she completely set him (and everyone else) up.

I wish I had watched it when it came out so I could have OMG OMG conversations with people who were also watching it for the first time.

Ahhhh don't tease me for feeling sorry for Tom! I know he's an idiot, but everyone is so mean. :(

And yes - I've really got to get a wriggle on so that that finale isn't spoiled for me before i get there!
