any1 watch Hollyoaks tonight? (E4 tomorrow's episode for the rets of the world!)

I know I know, it's chronic but it's one of those programs I get hooked on!
But tonight's episode was terrible (mixed emotions about it all)
They could have dragged the paedophile thing out a bit more, I mean come on, surely the police would do more to look into the whole situation?!
And as for Steph paying the whole "wicked with from Snow White", what's that all about?!!

Ooh, on an almost completely different line, why has Jake turned into my ex?!!

i know! I thought the same. Thinking it wrong to do that story at 6.30 but then also it should be made aware to people.

Did leave it a bit open.. At least they arrested him though..

erm... Mercedes had an abortion. Dom's wife slept with russ, dom went on holiday on his own but doesnt know she slept with russ...

The new posh girl is going out with the trannie... Nancy and jake got engaged...

Newt left the osbournes coz the thought he stole from them but was actually darren fuelling his gambling obsession...

Gilly is going out with reese's sister, reese is going out with sarah again all to cover up that they still love each other secretly i rekon!

its a lifeguard who is teaching tom to swim who is mates with OB. Im not sure he really is one... that is what the story line is making you think at the moment... watch tonight as it will come to light as he was arrested at the end..

i have seen tonights episode. Its horrid

won't give anythign away.

The guy is simon, he teaches children to swim at the pool and has been teaching Tom. Gilly thinks there is something "not right" about him so eventually him and Reece broke into his house and stole his laptop, on which are pics of Tom in just his trousers. Gilly gave the laptop to Max, Max went mad, punched him in the face called the police and BOTH were taken to police station.

Both Max and Simon were taken to police station last night. In tonights episode you see the outcome.

DD1 (9) and myself watch the e4 one every night and I was a little concerned at how the show ended last night but had a chat with dd and she seemed more clued up the subject than i gave her credit for. I have let dd watch hollyoaks for about 3 years and she is now wise beyond her years but in a good way. this programme definately has an educational thread to it.

i love Hollyoaks., and always watch the e4 one at 7pm , so am always ahead and don't like to put my foot in it with spoilers...but since it's already been done....

I did think it was well filmed- it really gave a feling of a witch hunt, and how easily people will believe badly of someone if they want to enough. Even when faced with the truth, theres still a niggling doubt.

I agree that Hollyoaks often tackles subjects better than most programmesam intrigued by the way the Jake/Nancy thing is going- he is becoming frighteningly controlling...

Yup Raahh, I had this problem with my ex (fair enough he and I were only 17 and 18 at the time but it still was a very strange way of being in a relationship)
I reckon it'll get to the point where she quits her job and ends up staying in the house all day!

As for the Simon story, I could see the whole thing coming (although couldn't see why OB couldn't trace his wife, but now I know) It was blatantly obv, to me, that the kid's room belonged to a dead child (isn't this what a lot of people do when they lose a child, as like a shrine to the one they've lost?) and so the rest just sort of slotted in around that really, sometimes the stories are too obv methinks, but at least they tackle a good range of stories and try to open people's eyes to common probs

i love hollyoaksat the mo (actually its been fab for a while now) agree the simon story was a bit rushed but the jake/nancy thing is really creepy. you forget how nasty jake is. remember when he found out about becca and justin and he dragged her around by her hair while she was 6m pg?

I agree he can be a bit of a psycho though, why do they have to use such a cute actor for it though?! I almost forgive him everything he does LOL

lol i love hollyoaks. soooo muchbetter than ee or corrie (tho i am watching them in the run up to christmas, christmas soaps are as much tradition as the queens speech)
