Trying is brilliant as is Ted Lasso - both have a similar heartfelt vibe to Afterlife but are completely different shows. Laugh out loud and make you cry.

The Morning Show is also very good but not a comedy.

Dopesick is great but quite harrowing. Maid is similar - great but harrowing.
