In Oz they do all sorts of grim tasks, but I don’t remember so many getting ill in Oz.

Last year they were really ill after doing the eating trial. Can’t remember who did it, but they were ill for days afterwards.

Did they go to hospital and therefore out of show due to COVID bubble

I don’t watch strictly but do all those in it have to stay away from family and friends so can dance close each week

No hospital. But v poorly with tummy upsets.

Apparently he is is mother's carer - she has ishoos - and he's worried about her.

Hmmm.... I wonder if he's trying to find a reason to walk. His face when he was chosen for the trial was a picture!

I mean, he's a bit of a wet blanket but he also seems like a genuinely nice chap to me. No ego about him but clearly quick to take a slight

I think there is a show, but even Ant and Dec's segments will be pre-recorded. That's what I understood from the article I read but prepared to be corrected.

I think it was Shane Richie who ended up the worst after that drinking challenge with the actress from Corrie (?) That was totally grim, can't imagine it does any good for your insides.

I think some of the trials do pose a health hazard in the long term

Do they sign a clause not to sue ITV if this happens

If he is her carer, he really should have thought more into going on a show like this.

Yes eating a fermented egg /drink can’t be good for you

Where as tasting testicles or eating eyeballs or anus or whacking a Willy in your mouth isn’t the best but tech offal isn’t it so edible especially in Middle East countries

Not sure about the drinks but fermented eggs are eaten in China and some other parts of Asia, I saw them for sale when I was in Thailand and don’t think they’re that uncommon so even if we don’t eat them here I don’t think they are likely to be bad for the celebs. Fermented foods like kimchi, miso and tempeh are actually often said to be good for you and gave health benefits so I don’t think they’re going to do any harm even if the celebs don’t like the taste.

Fermented eggs are a delicacy. But I’ll pass on them. My Dad used to tell me about when he was at boarding school in the 50’s and the Chinese boys had eggs sent in the post. Apparently they were black and the stink was horrendous.

I didn’t know he was his mums carer, that’s nice and explains why he misses her, but doesn’t explain why he’s such a spoiled man child.
