I'm sure it's going to be cheesy and formulaic and I can probably predict the plot but I can't wait! How many mystery men does the Dowager have in her past? What would Prince Kuragin say?? And has His Lordship been on a diet? Hugh Bonneville looks very different!

I thought the Dowager is terminally I'll. not sure how she'll manage a house in France.

I suspect she'll only be in it for a few scenes and they'll visit the villa after she's been buried.

I'm am so excited, I didn't realise there was a 2nd film.

In fact I'm watching Downton on Netflix now

I agree it'll be cheesy and an obvious story line, but at this moment in time I need that in my life.
Complex, political, heart breaking films are great, but sometimes you need to see some familiar faces and something heart warming.

Gosh the Dowager was "a girl" (as my grandad would have said ). How many men is that? Love her.
I'm fact when I reach 80, that's how I want to be.

I think they left her health issues open in the last film, with a possibility of recovery. It seems that Daisy and Andy got married, as well as Tom Branson and Lucy.

I just wish we didn't have to wait until March. What it should really be is an ITV special that we can all watch with a glass of sherry and box of chocs on Christmas Day!

What happened to all Daisy's ambitions? She's still in the kitchens!

I thought Daisy was educating herself so this she could take on her father in laws farm, when he dies?
I think she agreed to move in with him in the last film.
