I’m gripped and then discovered there’s only 2 episodes uploaded so far. Am I expected to watch one a week like it’s 1993?!

It’s fascinating and horrifying. I’d heard references over the years to “America’s opioid crisis” and wondered why we didn’t have it here. Well, here are the answers.

Watched E7 earlier. Was horrified to hear Richard Sackler talk about developing a version of Oxycontin for children.

I'll have to wait until it's on a Freeview channel, but it sounds a gripping watch.

The Metropolitan Museum has rejected funding from the Sacklers, and is now dropping the family name from exhibit halls. IIRC from previous discussion, the Sacklers paying to have their name on prestigious stuff was seen as them essentially buying respectability for the family brand.

It is available for children, in the UK. Obviously only as a last resort for serious issues though.

@BeyondShrinks I can see that it could be used in dire circumstances, it was more the thought of it being sold in the same way as the adult prescriptions. Chilling. The only concern from the Sacklers seems to be profit.

I'm actually enjoying that they drop one a week I don't think I could have binged this tbh. I cried at this last one.
