Is anyone watching? The 2nd series has probably been a bit more ambling than the first, but so think it is one of the most touching, beautiful and genuine programmes on TV. The father and son theme has been done so well, the examples of healthy, supportive male relationships compared the the effects of toxic ones... I am just in love with it. And Roy Kent

Rebecca and Keeley crying was hilarious too! It was a good episode overall! Hope season 3 happens and fast!!

I really hope that Nate has his redemption in the next series. I think there's a point to his character and its development. Him spitting on his reflection was quite horrifying. I think he'll come back to the fold.
I can't wait till NEXT YEAR for the next series

The character growth with Nate has been great.

Started out as the cute underdog taken under the wing, being bullied a bit.

The attention from the men helped his self esteem but overinflated his ego he began to secretly bully the kid who replaced him.

Like any bully, he is filled with self loathing, and has now gone full snivelling shitbag.

I don't want him welcomed back.

I want him taken down.

Nate needs his head flushed atm… again his behaviour is probably about getting his own shitty Dad’s attention.

I love Ted Lasso. I have the second half of this series to catch up on, will be watching this week.

Ted Lasso is a be of my favourite shows.

I REALLY hope Nate gets his comeuppance.

We waited until all of season2 was available before renewing Apple TV, and are catching up. The make characters are great, as discussed, but I love the cross generational dynamics between Keely and Rebecca. Both excellent badass women in their own ways.

@AyeAyeMister… Yeah… I came back to correct that one! Sad thing is that I was born in 1972, so if I’d given it any thought I could have counted back two years from my own age. What can I say? It’s a long time since high school maths in the 80’s!

I actually think the show needed this.

It remained a lovely little show in Series 2 but lacked any tension without an antagonist

@EineReiseDurchDieZeit agree, but did it have to be Nate?! I liked him but now the story has made me dislike him (which is probably the plan!)

Its interesting, because even though he became part of the gang there were persistent signs that he had a nasty side.

Was it me or did Nate get progressively greyer as the episode went on. I loved Coach Beard and how he just knew that Nate was sly. Am assuming they are going to do some rivalry stuff in Season 3.

I loved how Roy couldn’t forgive himself for forgiving Jamie. Hopefully Keeley is in the next series. She is great. The shortbread scene made me laugh.

I thought it was weird how he suddenly turned grey yes.

Yes, it’s a wig. He said he has flecks of grey in his hair that they painted out in the first series. In the second series they painted in more grey to track Nate’s spiral and by the end he is wearing a wig.
