Corrie... stupid Maria storyline

Her son has got asthma so she smashes up a van because it's the vans fault??! And the scene at the end of the episode where she's walking down the road after smashing it up... I love Corrie but this was comical and not in a good way! It was the most ridiculous storyline I've seen in a while!

Corrie is stupid. I watch out of habit but it is awful at the moment!

Haha I feel the same. Me and husband were a bit wtf at it all. Seemed very staged and propaganda like!

The trouble with Corrie is that it has lost a lot of its humour, and has too many dramatic storylines involving people that no-one cares about.

For the 1st time in my life, apart from the 2.5yrs I lived abroad, I have stopped watching it this year. Not seen it since May/June and don't feel like I am missing out at all.

@eddiemairswife you're spot on there. It used to be funny. I miss that.

Yeah, that was ridiculous. These days I don't make a point of watching Corrie any more, I just catch it when I happen to be around. Too many 'sensational'/depressing stories.
