The White Lotus - worth sticking with?

I’m just at the end of the second episode and not feeling it.

Does it get better? I’ve read a lot of positive reviews but most people seem to be hooked from the start.

I did have one reality query though….if the dm of the ‘family’ is essentially the head of google, why didn’t they have a two or three bedroom apartment?

I know that really bugged me !
Crazy to think of trying to fit a teen boy ,2 teen girls and parents into a one bedroomed apartment .

We gave up after episode 2. And I said the same about the apartment size! You’d want at least 3 beds if not 4

That was odd, but they needed that setup for the storyline. It wouldn't have worked if they'd all been in their own rooms and not interacting. They could have explained it as the kids weren't originally going to go with them.

It's had fantastic reviews but it's advertised as a satire so it a bit like the emperors new clothes. No reviewer is going to give a bad review in case people point a finger and say they weren't clever enough to get it. 😉

I watched the first two episodes last night and finding it quite compelling so far. Having just come back from a weekend hotel stay where we moaned to reception staff and left a day early, I’m feeling slightly mortified that we’re the honeymoon couple

I have watched 4 episodes and love it !!!

It's odd but there are some proper laugh out loud moments. DH and I are still repeating some of them too each other weeks later.

I enjoyed it, but didn’t feel the same as those on my FB who’ve called it the best tv series ever etc. It had interesting characters, and showed how people’s flaws impact on those around them.

The most annoying thing was that the one person I wanted to be in the box definitely wasn’t.

I really liked it - although I was disappointed by the young lady of the honeymoon couple at the end. I was rooting for the son though, so pleased for him.

Bloody Awful...would never watch another series!

I want sure whether to give this a go and judging by the responses I'm still not sure.
I absolutely loved succession, but a few pp said they didn't like succession and loved this, so maybe it's not for me!
