I wouldn't argue with anyone who wanted to split up with me ... definitely not if I was on my early 20s and had been with them for 6 whole weeks! Relationships should be fun and easy at that stage in your life, not endless fraught conversations.
When I was in my early 20's I thought every relationship I had was going to end in a fairytale wedding!
Also I think it's easy as onlookers to underestimate the intensity of living in that villa for 6+ weeks or however long it's been. Even at the end of a 2 week holiday I begin to lose touch with reality back at home.
Just to add again that I really think it's unfair to speculate on the red lipstick/clothes comment when we never saw it. For all we know Jake could have said "oh I hate it when you wear red lipstick Lib, I get covered" and she would have taken that the wrong way. Again.
