Last night also made me think that LI have deliberately not been showing any 'bromances' as I had no idea that Jake and Toby were such good friends at all.

This year is all about the sisterhood:

Liberty and Kaz's friendship,
Looking out for your friends when the cheaters come back from Casa,
Girls chat on the terrace (yes the boys get shown having a group chat but there is more emphasis on the girls)
The fire pit intervention with Lib after Jake said he loved her

Faye almost spoilt the theme by ranting at Liberty, Kaz and Millie after the compatibility vote but she then cried with Millie about the vote and comforted Lib in her hour of need.

I just don't think he liked her enough and it's very sad to see he decided to go ahead for the competition. I think the producers need to stop pressuring the cast to couple up from Day 1. Even sleeping in the same bed with people who have mugged you off. You are stuck 24/7 with them and then you have to share their bed too..

I'm still dwelling on the petal pool.... did they lower them in on hoists? Did they stand there in the pool while the petals were added around them? Did they wade in amongst the petals then have to have the petals tied up?

Was the water warm? Surely not hot as the petals would have wilted. Cold would be infeasible but warm would feel like wee.

Unseen bits was so much more interesting than the main show. Who knew Mary's dad dated Jane McDonald, and I thought the sketch with Faye selling the villa to FTBs Kaz and Tyler was funny.

Seems to be working. I saw a girl wearing a top that showed off her underboobs in a shopping centre yesterday.

They did. The other night Lib was crying as Jake said something about getting the ick cover her messiness.
But it's a culmination of lots of things really. He doesn't like her heels or red lipstick. Seemed to question her clothes and so on. She broke it off and he said to the boys it was mutual.
So they went on their date and she said she was leaving and he said he would go with her.

I noticed that....

Liam looks a lot like his dad! His parents are both so good looking, as is Millie's mum. I love seeing the islander's families as you get a sense of what's real and what's for the camera.

She then seemed to finally believe it was over as he would have fought for her if he had loved her.

That more than the ick and clothing etc seemed to be the final straw. He just accepted it and seemed a bit miffed but not that fussed.

I think she did what a lot of people do - know deep down that someone isn't that into you. And the right decision is to end things. But having a bit of hope that maybe you've misunderstood somehow and they'll set you straight, and it's all been a big misunderstanding. She'd had a lot of conversations with him on how she thinks he doesn't fancy her, and he never once said, "I fancy you, you're gorgeous blah blah blah". So his finally admitting he didn't have any affection left for her was the confirmation her gut needed!

Everyone's different. If someone dumped me, I wouldn't fight for them as I'd feel humiliated by the dumping.

You must have missed out a lot as you're not willing to be vulnerable and tell people how you really feel.

I wouldn't argue with anyone who wanted to split up with me ... definitely not if I was on my early 20s and had been with them for 6 whole weeks! Relationships should be fun and easy at that stage in your life, not endless fraught conversations.
