Superstore is the first one that comes to mind. Or the US Office.

Boohooyouho · 15/08/2021 21:14

The office? My kids love it.

MikeWozniaksMohawk · 15/08/2021 21:14

When they are a bit older, Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Also another one for now - Arrested Development

SequinsandStiIettos · 15/08/2021 21:14

If on ze net of flix then Superstore or Kim's Convenience

GeorgiaMcGraw · 15/08/2021 21:15

If you have Netflix, try Great News. In the same sort of arena.

raffle · 15/08/2021 21:16

I adored Shitts Creek!
Try Unbreakable Kimmy Schmit, I enjoyed that

MikeWozniaksMohawk · 15/08/2021 21:17

Bit older but How I Met Your Mother

MikeWozniaksMohawk · 15/08/2021 21:18

Ok last ones. Silicon Valley. And Taskmaster.

MondayYogurt · 15/08/2021 21:18

Brooklyn Nine Nine

IDidntFloatUpTheLaganInABubble · 15/08/2021 21:18

I came to say Superstore too!

TwigTheWonderKid · 15/08/2021 21:20

The Office is out as we binge-watched that with DS1 and I don't think I could watch it again.

We tried Superstore the other night but didn't enjoy the first episode much. Should we persevere?

Superstore is good. My Dd loves Mr Iglesias on Netflix and Rising Hope on Disney plus. My name is Earl is next on our list.

If you can find Chuck that is good, It store guy becomes secret agent but I'm not sure if it's streaming anywhere atm.

DonLewis · 15/08/2021 21:22

Couldn't get on with superstore either.

I've got Kim's convenience next on my list

Agadorsparticus · 15/08/2021 21:24

Brooklyn 99
New Girl

Scautish · 15/08/2021 21:26

Brooklyn 99 for sure

Frasier.

Gary tank commander

MrsPsmalls · 15/08/2021 21:28

Brooklyn then Kim's Convenience

BikeRunSki · 15/08/2021 21:29

Depending on the child, you may want to skip the sexual tape episode!!
Yafilthyanimal · 15/08/2021 21:29

Life in pieces on Amazon.

MikeWozniaksMohawk · 15/08/2021 21:31

@BikeRunSki oh yes good point!

TwigTheWonderKid · 15/08/2021 21:31

Sorry, forgot to mention we've done Brooklyn Nine Nine, Modern Family and Kimmy Schmidt too.

OP posts:
jay55 · 15/08/2021 21:32

Modern family
Blackish (and spin off Grownish)
Corner gas

BikeRunSki · 15/08/2021 21:34

The Middle was perfect lockdown tv for us, the dc were 8 and 11 then.

SequinsandStiIettos · 15/08/2021 22:41

Persevere with Superstore, it's a grower
Same as Kim's Convenience
You just need to get invested
I should follow my own advice and re-try Parks and Rec and Arrested Development, shouldn't I?
OK, see you Wink

PennyWus · 15/08/2021 23:06

Have you tried Fawlty Towers?

LeonardLikesThisPost · 16/08/2021 11:26

30 Rock
The IT Crowd

I absolutely love Always Sunny, but definitely wouldn't watch it with a 12yo - 15+ for that one!
