On the recommendation of my 14 year old niece I have started watching Greys Anatomy. Only 14 years or so too late but hey ho 😂

Am I wrong, or is Miranda Bailey just the best character? All of the others I find annoying, infuriating, tiresome in some ways but I absolutely love her.

I need to be more Bailey

I loved it for about the first 6 seasons.

Now it's gone to shit. The Covid one has been especially bad. I miss the grittiness and reality that it had initially.

I may watch it from the beginning again now Grin

I'd watch the season 5 finale and stop there. If you want to be mentally scarred forever, carry on at your own risk.

@ripplestitchblank I’m pretty sure some episodes have left me emotionally scarred for life 😓🙈
Also a word of warning - the traumatic thing always catches you off guard a few episodes before the end of a season 🙈🤣 If you hear Chasing Cars starting to play, just switch the tv off 🤣

I’ve started recently, on season 6 now. I love Bailey too, I think it was the season 5 finale which made me gasp and weep.

I started watching it in the first lockdown and got all the way through to the end.
I've just started again and am loving knowing what's coming!
I love Bailey too. The conversation about her 'surgical area' is so funny!

Absolutely love Bailey! I won’t spoil it as you’re so early in but there’s a scene in season 6 where she breaks down in tears and it was so powerful because she’s always strong and in control, it made me cry (I’m not generally a crier!)

She has a gorgeous singing voice too!

My other favourites are Callie and Arizona

I love Greys to a point. Got to about Season 10, but my favourite character left (Christina). Not the same without her. Does she return at all?

They also killed off another major character (trying not to give it away!). I couldn't watch after that.

I’ve googled a bit (wish I hadn’t) but I think all the interns in it now (season 3) leave in time except perhaps Meredith. I can’t imagine it without them. Will be such a shame.

Yes and Jo is English! It's so weird seeing them & hearing them talk in their natural accents!
