Although I can't take to him, HAS he really done much wrong? All the other girls are now moaning about him, obviously stoked by Liberty. Whereas their boys all went off with other girls not long ago.

I agree that for all Fay’s front she has massive self esteem issues. I think she will need some major counselling when she leaves the villa.
It’s sad to think all their lives will be changed when they come out. They are young and can no doubt only see how things will change for them in a good way, fane and financial incentives. I can’t even imagine walking around knowing people have watched you on tv and judged your every move. In 10 maybe even 20 years time some of them might still be recognised and judged. That’s scary...yet still I watch the show

I’ve only just watched the end of Fridays ep, Jake REALLY didn’t want to say I love you to Lib did he? It was basically forced out of him, she sat there stony faced until he said it. Now whether that’s because he doesn’t really love her or he does and just can’t articulate it well, it wasn’t nice to see. I wouldn’t sit there and force someone to say I love you and then be all giddy about it

I honestly can’t see a single one of those couples lasting on the outside. I want to say Toby and Chloe will, but we all know what tobys like and he’ll be absolutely loving all the attention he’s going to get.

I like Priya even more for having the confidence to admit she fancies Boris. Good for her. It shows she's not afraid to go against the grain.

I think it’s one of those stupid things you say when you’re young to be ‘controversial’. Makes me respect her less. And her arrogance over her intellect and qualifications was lacking in class. In the same that someone saying I’m clearly the most beautiful, or clearly the nicest person would also be lacking in class. She may be terribly smart but she’s no more sophisticated than any other average 23 year old.

It was really arrogant. Ive got lots of friends who are doctors and they are definitely not the smartest out of us (didn't get the best grades out of us, for example) and wouldn't have the gall to state that they are.

When she said 'show me your doctorate!', Chloe should have said 'show me yours!'- seeing as she hasn't actually got the degree yet.

To be fair, I think she was referring to Brett doing a PHD not herself. No one medical would describe themselves as having/doing a doctorate unless they'd done a post-grad MD

Chloe lives in Bicester. I can't see how Liam and Millie will work unless they move in together immediately. They are 4 and a half hours drive apart.

I'm heartened to see that several of us on here are seeing through the manipulation of the Jake and Liberty story by the producers. As a couple they have been thrown to the wolves and I doubt they will survive. In particular I hate the way the other contestants have spotted their weakness and they are circling like vultures now.

I suppose I hope Chloe and Toby win but I don't like what has been done to Liberty and, yes, even Jake in the name of entertainment.

When Mars is very close to Earth, we are seeing it as it was about three minutes ago, but at other times light takes more than 20 minutes to travel from Mars to Earth. She delivered it with such patronising confidence. Well done Faye for calling it out as BS

I was just about to say that myself. I finished watching this morning. For someone so intelligent, she sure is lacking in knowledge. But then I’m in my 50’s. Probably I was even more stupid back then…

Incidentally is anyone or has anyone watched LI Australia? I watched series 1 a while back. So different. The commentary and style, yes, but also the women and people’s behaviour and attitudes. Less preening from both men and women. More straight talk. Cosmetic work a rarity rather than a given.
