Our Girl Thread 61 "Our Girl, Soldier Soldier and The Musketeers Revisited"

We started to follow "Our Girl" back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of "Soldier Soldier" to keep up our military terminology and have almost finished the first series of "The Musketeers". Of course, there is a definite connection between "Our Girl" and "The Musketeers" in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. We will start on series 2 very soon.

There's an absolute wealth of accents in these episodes, considering we are supposed to be in rural France half the time.

I lost the plot about Porthos. Has he gone to see the man he thinks is his Dad?

Yep, so he just confirmed. Meanwhile some brute is beating that girl and needs the lovely Aramis to rescue her.

With the exception of the mother superior, only baddies have regional accents, and this baddy has the double whammy - a regional accent AND a ginger.

I won't take offence about the ginger hair eejit. :)

Porthos meets his sister. Meanwhile, Constance is a widow and probably feeling very guilty that she can now be with D'Art.

Here she goes - we have no right to be happy. Reminds me of Matthew and Mary in Downton after the inconvenient fiancee conveniently died of Spanish 'flu.

Meanwhile, Kingy is looking like a spoilt child wrapped up in that curly rug or whatever it is. What an idiot he is.

Oh the Queen is helpful to Constance but still thinks Rochefort is OK

Not exactly a loving father is he? She is shrewish and spiteful. Hubby has anger issues - needs some therapy.

Yep, Porthos will give him some therapy, might cure him forever!
