Has anyone seen Time on iPlayer? Hard to watch in parts but sooo good and so sad.

I thought it was dreadful. As soon as he said he was a teacher I was waiting for him to teach a kindly old lag how to read.

Grim viewing. I can’t imagine why anyone would choose a life of crime when that could be the end result. Imagine spending 30 years somewhere like that.

Well, I guess that's kind of the point though isn't it for a lot of people - the life they're risking giving up is often so awful anyway that it may not seem worse and in some ways may be better (thinking of things like warmth, food, some recreation etc). Very sad.
