Gotta love some of the ageism on here

I was amazed by Squirrel being an older lady

I was convinced she was a young red head. I was half right

Tbh, I think everyone’s favourite costume was the giant sponges

He's 16 years older than me!

I was more amazed at how tall and slim she looked with a squirrel head but suddenly looked very short and slightly fatter with no head

Those of us who are that age and feeling it, are bloody impressed. That's not ageism, that's ''we're not worthy'' and ''Woah, I should have a go!'' Being inspired/pleasantly surprised is not ageism if the majority of commenters are coming from middle-aged women. I'm 50 and found it all awesome, same as when I adored Debbie McGee, Pamela Stephenson/Connolly and Bill Bailey. Truly inspirational to be able to dance at that level or learn to dance at that level at that age.
The youngest female contestant on this was 41. This is a huge deal in reality tv terms because production usually do look for young contestants, influencers etc so it was a welcome surprise that on this, because of the masks presumably, they weren't under any pressure to appeal to the ''yoof'' demographic and so the age of all the contestants was refreshing compared with what we usually get to see on tv.

The carwash costume was the cleverest wasn't it, because he actually got to do carwash moves which was inspired! Silly but inspired!

I agree with everything you say emphatic! I LOVED Pamela Stephenson on Strictly.

Hello Piggy Tis emphatic with a new name Big fan here. Thought they did well ''only'' to use Louise, Louis, Kelly and Craig. Casting must have been hard going, knowing so many dancing alumni end up on or are from Strictly/DOI.
Scarlett Moffatt or Ray Quinn would have made my list. Surprised they didn't have AJ or Curtis on it. The American one had Maks DWTS pro come second in a godawful costume that looked nothing like a sloth and Maddie Ziegler's sister, DWTS kids, come third.
I loved the Carwash costume mainly because of the movement - it reminded me of some of the sparkly sheath dresses on Strictly that have been used for Charleston or Latin but when it washed the car I squealed!

Ha! I clapped and giggled! The shame!

Scarlett would have been good : they were all super fit people ; would have been nice to have someone a but more like all the rest of us!
