Masked Dancer thread anyone?

Despite the agonising clash with the quality TV that is I Can See Your Voice, I will be watching the Masked Dancer.

Calling the usual suspects - and anyone else- to join me!

Hi piggy. Been away celebrating my mother's birthday and it would have been deemed rude to go indoors to watch drivel on the TV. So only caught bits of it so far unfortunately. Home now so no need to socialise. Can watch all the crap telly I want!

It's choreographed. Otherwise how would all the backing dancers know the routine as well?

And anyone who is a trained dancer is going to really hold back and tone it down during the masked routine, like the demonstration from Jordan Banjo we saw last night.

Couldn't watch it live, the ad breaks drive me mad, I would never have guessed Dita Von Tease in a million years, mind you I didn't recognize her when the mask came off anyway.

Anyone remember Huggy Bear from Starsky and Hutch years ago, if he wasn't in his seventies I'd say Zip was him 😀😀

I think Scarecrow is Victoria Pendleton.
She was rubbish on Strictly though wasn't she? My mate thinks it's Jess Ennis-Hill.

I thought Jess Ennis-Hill. Definitely looks to be leaning towards a sports star. Denise Lewis is the other although the height doesnt seem right

My big problem with scarecrow is that the clues seem to fit Claire Balding but I cannot imagine that she could dance that way!

I thought Beth Tweddle for the Scarecrow- but my only reason for it was the Olympics clue, and she stood on her head Grin.
I'm very rubbish at guessing- and after the Dita reveal- it could be anyone. Grin

It's probably Una Stubbs, in a Worzel Gummidge/Aunt Sally double bluff. even though she's in her 80s

I mean, she used to be a dancer Grin.

I’m with you that the clues fit Clare Balding for scarecrow although again not sure re the dancing and handstands

Also the clue Dita gave re ‘weird choral groove’ seems to confirm Knickerbocker is Craig as it’s an anagram of Craig Revel Horwood

I feel like the clues from ep 1 are completely ditched in 2. So in episode one it was al about DJing , the the motorbike/fast car thing.

Huge numbers of people have done star in a reasonably priced car on Top Gear so it isn't a very helpful clue.

Whoever it is is quite tall with chunky legs and bit of a tum, so maybe in his 40s+ but still very physically fit. I thought Peter Duncan at one point but he is 67 so that could be pushing it.

Now you know it’s Dita, you can clearly see it’s her. The way she moves is very sultry.

But now it’s thrown a hammer in the wrench so to speak. You look for famous people who are very well known in every day culture and Dita isn’t. She’s very exclusive to the burlesque world
