Final season starts tomorrow (28 May) on NF. The trailer made me hoot. Great cast and great writing. Will miss Norman though.

This is one of my favourite series on Netflix but had no idea it was the final one as well. I'll probably binge watch over the bank holiday if there's nothing else on. I'll miss them both. It's really sharp as well as funny. Great cameos too.

One of my favourite comedies, sad to hear it’s the final series.

LucysSkyDiamonds · 27/05/2021 17:13

Brilliant, no idea it was coming!

Thanks for the reminder, I’ll probably binge watch it over the weekend.

I loved Norman, I can’t see it being the same if he’s no longer in it though.

GucciJackie · 27/05/2021 17:54

Is it good? Michael Douglas being in it put me off it.

It’s very good. A bit depressing in places, but in a funny way.

When I started watching the first episode I rolled my eyes thinking it was going to be about Sandy (MD's character) and his romantic conquests - it so isn't! At its heart it's a Sandy/Norman bromance. Well worth a watch.

Oh I cant wait. Alan Arkin said he still has other things to achieve and didnt want to be in it anymore. He will be missed.

Well I’ve 2 episodes left to watch, and it’s really not the same without Norman 😞

Germolenequeen · 29/05/2021 23:17

Loved the first 2 seasons so sad that Norman has gone - can't seeit being nearly as good 😢

It’s not, the Sandy and Norman bromance was hilarious. Norman made the programme, even Morgan Freeman’s appearance hasn’t save it!

@Bythehairywartsonmywitchychin 😓

I suspect Tom Cruise won’t be making a guest appearance on The Kominsky Method.

I hear you but honestly it's worth it. I generally can't stand him (mostly because he's played horrible characters) but I have COMPLETELY turned around on him from this show. The relationship between them is so lovely and we'll acted which sounds soppy but it's really not as they're pretty harsh on each other too

I've only seen 1st episode of season 3 so far but just wondering what's left really if their friendship is not in it. Although Paul Reiser is also excellent in it.

groundcontroltomontydon · 30/05/2021 20:33

Just finished watching the last episode - I thought it was great. It was always going to be about tying up loose ends, closure, and it delivered. Loved that Norman was a big part of the final series without being in it, loved the Sandy storyline, loved Alex (wonder if he still has his life coachSmile)

I think it's a great show and Michael Douglas is a fantastic actor. In the first series Sandy was still chasing much younger women, but even he realised that it was getting pathetic.

In Season 3 Morgan Freeman does a scene from new version of Quincy ME where Quincy is non-binary. This involves really leaden dialogue about people's pronouns while they rummage around in a dead body. It's good to see a piss-take of all the non-binary nonsense. I hope it's a piss-take.

I liked Sandy's relationship with his ex-wife too.
