I'm not any better at sewing than poetry as it happens.

Anyways, line for Patrick starts behind me.

Thing is Piggy it was Damien talking sexy zips which put me off a bit!

Oh indeed roussette. I find two way zips a little unnerving even when it's not Damien...

I always want to look like Charlotte Rampling or Kristin Scott Thomas in tweed, sort of aristocratic and chic. Instead I look like one of those country ladies from French and Saunders. 'Feed it to the dogs!'

Roussette - I sew with two friends every Friday afternoon and when a mistake might have been made the cry goes up "what would Patrick/Esme say".

Some of these dresses aren't what I would call a party dress. Tweed. Really???

Can you imagine if Rafe has the worst week, Damien does ok and somehow skates through again?

I look like Maggie Thatcher in tweed.

I once ordered a pinkish tweed dress from Boden. It went back, I looked like Dolores Umbridge

I don't care for bows.

I learned the hard way the dangers of a dress with an obvious zip down the front when wearing one in a nightclub at the age of 19. Always put a safety pin through below the zip pull if there’s a risk of a drunk chap trying to undo it on the dance floor…

To be fair, I have a lovely Hobbs tweed dress but not for a party.
