Our Girl Thread 60 "Our Girl, Soldier Soldier and The Musketeers Revisited"

We started to follow "Our Girl" back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We are about to finish the final series of "Soldier Soldier" and will be starting on the first series of "The Musketeers". Of course, there is a definite connection between "Our Girl" and "The Musketeers" in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino.

I think it would definitely be a case of "lay back and think of France", wouldn't it Rhu.

Now the Cardinal is more than ever creepy. What a toad.

So Vincent is more than just a soldier.

I think this storyline is easier to follow than some of the others.

So the lady married a disabled man, and that is why he was shunned.

Lots of sad tales I this. Everyone seems to be unloading their sorrows

Plus you’re getting to know the characters

What a gent Aramis is to the ladies.

"I'd never forgive myself" - yep heard that line before.

I think Aramis has a soft spot for her.

I love the different accents in the series - not one of them French.

Oh D'Art has the same cheeky smile as Elvis!

I love watching D’Art think!

Another problem in the bedroom department Constance? D'Art has a bright idea.

Now as I recall, D'Art was teaching Constance to shoot last week wasn't he? It might come in handy!

Over friendly soldier/guard. I'm suprised he can see her backside in that dress.

She has found the baby. Now she needs to work out how to get him out of there.

The accent thing is interesting. D’Art is a Gascon and should have an impenetrable accent. In the books, all he needs to be incognito is to keep his mouth shut.

The queen is that woman's mother-in-law. That means the baby must be royal?

She had twins. So the first born was the eldest. The child must be the heir to the throne.

So the baby is the king's nephew?

(and the rightful heir).

The plot thickens ...

Not sure you should have told the Cardinal, mate. He doesn't like people much.

Crikey, now Constance is in trouble.

It’s quite fun seeing the Cardinal think, as well.
