Our Girl Thread 60 "Our Girl, Soldier Soldier and The Musketeers Revisited"

We started to follow "Our Girl" back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We are about to finish the final series of "Soldier Soldier" and will be starting on the first series of "The Musketeers". Of course, there is a definite connection between "Our Girl" and "The Musketeers" in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino.

Hello, here we are again!

Just joining from Thread 59 - last episode of series 7 Soldier Soldier in progress.

Tony Rossi is chasing Julie again.

I didn’t think the Elf was that perceptive.

Rossi is still trying his luck with Julie. She might be starting to see sense at last.

Jessica is at the Board of Inquiry - is she about to spill the beans.

Kevin had heard the conversation between his parents that he was the reason Sgt Shouty didn't get his promotion and has packed his bags, intending to go to London out of the way.

Rossi - what is important to you is your ego.

Jessica says the mission was 'Suicidal' - she is not holding back. Jeremy is right that she will kill her own career. The lawyer is claiming that she has no frontline experience, so doesn't know what she is talking about.

Jessica is giving her evidence. Drysdale's defence looks a slimy character. Will he be a "normal" solicitor or also an army person?

Now Jeremy is giving his version of events. His is more balanced than Jessica's.

Jessica is being very brave but I don't hold out much hope for it getting her anywhere

Jeremy is trying not to say something negative, but they have read that into his words. The Colonel will be fuming.

Can I not watch this but with Jacko and Andy proving how stupid they are.

Sgt Shouty comes to look for his son and to try and make amends.

Jeremy is weaselling.

At least Sgt Shouty is turning into a better man and dad.

I think Jessica is in the wrong job. Her opinions are too political to be an army officer.

Yes Sgt Shouty coming over a bit more like a human now probably cause he has had some miserable treatment at the hands of the Colonel himself

I can understand why Jessica feels the way she does as Drysdale has been dreadful with her in the past but Jeremy has a somewhat different view on the enquiry.

Andy has been doing his homework on the quiz and has been memorising the answers - not always very well.

In the absence of Chris, he’s turning into one of the very few tolerable characters.

Is the MC for the evening the same man who is growing cannabis?

I can't believe this BUT it is better than a boxing match.

What happens when Andy gets a different set of questions. If Stacey believes he is a mastermind, then she's too thick to be in the intelligence corps.

Jessica is stirring by going to see Angela. What good will that do. She wants her to take it further.
