Does anybody watch this? I just love it but don't know a single person who watch it or has ever heard of it!

I've seen it. It was on a few years back - I'd just returned from LA at the time.

I wasn't particularly keen but I'll give the new series a go.

Omg thanks for this OP, I had no idea the new series was out! DH and I absolutely love this program, it's amazing. And Franklin is played by an English actor, can you believe!

I loved it but it seems a while since I watched series 3 so two episodes into season 4 I'm wondering whether I need to watch the last series as a reminder of what went down.

Yes! I watched the 1st series and then forgot about it. Been meaning to go back to it, was really good!
