Anyone watching? I'm aghast, if I could live rent/mortgage free I'd have soo much money saved. Can't help but wonder what's driving them to spend soo much, must be something going on behind the scenes

I just watched it. I'm amazed how do people get mortgages with such little self awareness? I'm currently saving every penny for a deposit. How can you possible accumulate 7k of debt and not tackle it

I understand the debt when you are earning well and think I will pay it off. But when they have both been off work you would stop over spending on clothes. I mean £400 a month would you put them all?

@Iwantacookie

I didn't watch it purely because I thought it would be along the lines of idiots spending money on crap they dont need. Make a proper tv show and show us regular people how to save £1000
This made me laugh because I nearly DIDN’T watch it because I didn’t think that it would feature enough idiots spending money on crap they didn’t need.

There are few things I like better than finger wagging programmes about people overspending on crap. I used to love Bank of Mum and Dad and Spendaholics.

Anyway I like Anna Richardson, but I was sad to see that she has stuffed her face with filler since I last saw her on TV. Lay off the restylane, Anna! You’re better than that!

I’m just watching now. Are we really supposed to believe that poky little toilet is the only toilet in that lovely house they were standing in front of?
