Anyone else finding this series of Line of Duty utterly dull?

Aside from a few exciting scenes it's been one long stream of boring, long drawn out interviews. I know my attention span isn't great these days but it's really really slow, maybe covid restrictions has placed limitations on filming?

@ServeTheServants

I’ve always thought it is dreadful and that the acting is wooden and diabolical. I simply do not see the appeal.
Same. I liked the first series but had to try not to get too annoyed by the wooden acting. The characters in that made up for it. But I just don’t get the love tbh. And I don’t get the massive lady love for Vicky McClure on here. Sure she has pretty eyes but I can just see her acting the whole time.

I quite like buckells being the fourth man. And it really being all about simple greed and not some clever and evil Machiavellian figure being behind it all in the end.
Probably sums up corruption generally.

^ I agree on Buckells, though I have found this series a bit dull on the whole.

Well..I've been waiting a week for this🤦🏼‍♀️

Please tell me I'm not the only one who found this incredibly boring?

I thought that ending was abject piss.

Even name changed for this... and it was rubbish

Apart from Ted Dunbar, I find the rest of the actors are annoying because they ham it up. When I watched it at first I though it was a spoof! All the acronyms make me laugh and I get the impression that the cast are going to burst out laughing because they look so over the top serious.

I agree, I think it would have felt contrived if they had had a big master mind. I've really enjoyed the whole six series, it does hold my attention properly during an episode, it is one of the few things I watch and my mind doesn't wander.
