This is where I've got to in my head:

Carmichael isn't bent. She's spectacularly irritating and smug (and I actually don't like her at all, but I understand the character). Due to her style, it probably suits Osbourne to put her in charge of a combined AC unit because she'll follow procedures which insiders can notify the OCG of and not go with gut feel policing.

Osbourne is bent as we know. Likely Thurwell is the grand master.

More likely Jo is being blackmailed to protect someone rather than to keep info on her parentage hidden, or indeed be revealed to her if she isn't aware.

When Ted said 'my officer' he meant Kate in terms of the info she's passing back, rather than because she's reporting into AC12. Given how open that now is, I'm no longer sure she's deep UCO for a different AC.

No idea how Steph fits anymore. She's had a very big role which suggests her purpose is more than just to confirm that Ted gave her the £50k. It was def weird the way she went outside to take Steve's call. Perhaps she is H.

My neighbour - female, mid forties - has a glass fronted apartment. She never closes the blinds or curtains at night and a few times I've seen her crying whilst she doing stuff on her laptop. Should I pop round with some chocs or flowers and see how she is or should I stay out of it?

Steph certainly had a guest...god almighty don't say it was Ted inside watching the sport channel!

I am not very good at all this, but even I wondered who was inside the house.

Steph's husband John Corbett must have had had a few close colleagues when he was alive. And he had a handler, a recruiter (Supt Alison Powell), and there was the connection to the PCC Sindhwani through Bill Gigolo who is roaming free under a cut-back witness protection scheme.

Rewatching S1. Oddly , only re watched it once. Watched
all the other series at least three times!
Bloody hell, it is violent! And so, so good.
And, this weeks Obsessed with the LoD podcast. So so good!

I’m really hoping that it’s Ryan who has been shot, but that he’s badly injured rather than dead. Definately want to see him being interviewed.

I agree with other posters who say that scene at the firearms factory was weird.

I’ve been rewatching the previous seasons, am now halfway through S5. Been good to give my memory a jog.

We'd better watch out we don't fill up this thread before the next actual episode, lest Carmichael should sweep in, accuse us of misuse of the thread budget and suspend all our surveillance operations!
