I love them all so much, especially David Blush
I wasn't sure about Patrick at first, I was actually gunning for david and stevie! The end of series 3 got me though and made me cry.

I know it's ended and already feel gutted about that! Anyone want to talk about it without ruining it all?

@Thethingswedoforlove

We have tried the first two or three episodes and found it to be so hard to get on with. Does it change/ improve or is it just that we don’t really like it?
It definitely gets a lot better! The characters change and it gets quite heartfelt and clever.

It’s a grower. We were indifferent in series one now savouring every episode by series 4

I loved loved loved this show. I started watching during lockdown and I was feeling down, it was just what I needed.

It is all so perfect. Moira’s accent 😅 Alexis and her boops! and mannerisms, everything about David, I love Johnny especially with Stevie.

ApplesinmyPocket · 17/04/2021 02:19

I do love Schitt's Creek but, unlike most, got quickly fed up with David and Patrick - actually thought the show was a lot better before they got together.

desperatehousewife21 · 17/04/2021 10:19

The first vm David leaves Patrick on his phone ‘hi David it’s Patrick’ Grin

I love David and stevies friendship, Moira just generally. We say ‘bebe’ all the time now.
A little bit Alexis, David going to the Amish place. I could go on and on all the little bits I love. A few side characters I’m not so fussed on, was never a big fan of Roland. Johnny has a lot more patience with him than I’d have!

I loved Schitts Creek

Especially David and Alexa

Not keen on Moira

I'm starting to think that! At times I like it but at others I find it all a bit soppy. Also find it less fun with both Steve and Patrick making fun of David all the time. I feel like it was better when just the two of them.

No spoilers please, but does Stevie get some sort of happy ending?

Also does Mutt ever come back?

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 17/04/2021 22:12

I was so sad when they sent Mutt away.

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 17/04/2021 22:12

The lack of Mutt in later series was the only bad thing about the show.

I kept going and was really glad - they do really good season finale eps in particular. It did take me a good while to enjoy it, at first it just seemed like a really generic premise but it does come into its own.
Lelophants · 19/04/2021 20:22

Alexis and ted making me well up!

Go from liking David/Patrick to finding it a teeny bit too cheesy

Oh god the Amish episode and how the Amish were so polite but also desperate to get rid of them 😁. Proper laughed at that

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 19/04/2021 22:53

The Amish episode was also the one with the handbag? It's my favourite.

PasstheBucket89 · 21/04/2021 12:11

i love this show its a favourite in our house.

Me too. I was so disappointed with the way the Alexis/Mutt relationship went but glad in the end as it paved the way for Hot Ted. Yes and Alexis 😭😢😢

I agree but Alexis was right about when he shaved his beard. Much hotter with than without.
MSQuinn · 22/04/2021 08:46

I loved it. I also came to it late. I started to watch it once and then lost interest but came back to it and found I absolutely loved it. I frequently use Moira Gifs as I love her. It’s really beautifully written and I was so sad when it ended.

@Thethingswedoforlove - we felt the same with the first few episodes but a friend advised us to stick with it so we did and ended up loving it. Its brilliant and I miss it because we used to watch it with our two teens. I haven’t found anything else yet to replace it that we can all enjoy.
Thethingswedoforlove · 22/04/2021 09:22

@Inastatus thank you. We will continue with it.

TheLovleyChebbyMcGee · 22/04/2021 11:21

The first season was a bit of a slog, the Family was so unlikeable! But the character growth has seemed quite natural and I love them all now!! We're just finishing up season 4 I think, and quit sad its going to end soon!

Mabelene · 22/04/2021 11:31

We’ve just finished the Amish/handbag ep and I’m still not getting into it 🤔

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 22/04/2021 16:09

The actor went on to do Wynona Earp, a Canadian tv series, where he is again fabulously facially furnished.
