Ted has been the police so long that they won't necessarily have his DNA on file from him joining. He was arrested and interviewed last series so his DNA may be on the nominal database from then.

Now we know his Pointless laptop isn't so pointless

I just re watched the last episode and just wanted to share a funny bit I missed first time round.. When Steve & Chloe visit Lakewell in prison and Steve says "I was in a wheelchair last time" and Lakewell says "I thought you looked taller...relatively!" Now that's not very nice!!

I found Jimmy to be witheringly witty at times - gutted we won’t be seeing him again.

I presume they will say Lakewell hung himself so no murder investigation needed.

They know there's a dodge prison guard in there so to the prison Lakewell was going off to another prison but in reality, they were trying to put him in witness protection.

And yet inexplicably, after an obvious leak from somewhere, which facilitated an ENORMOUS armed ambush and one police fatality in an attempt to silence Jimmy before he could spill some highly damaging beans, THEY PUT HIM STRAIGHT BACK INTO THE EXACT SAME PRISON?!

Absolutely! If any of you also watch Blue Bloods you know a convoy ALWAYS goes wrong.

And for it to have gone spectacularly wrong ONLY to then go and put him back in the prison you sprung him from is unbelievably incompetent! Jimmy's family would surely have a case for sueing them!

I'm interested in one thing and one thing only - and that's catching bent spoiler posters .

Not so sure - I've just been making my google search history even more bizarre, and it seems you can tell the difference between hanging type ligature and murderous strangling sorts

(I was watching through my fingers and thought he was being garrotted - but I had been watching Johnny English immediately before)

I must admit that I am finding it a bit annoying when seeming everything goes wrong as it's all bloody leaked. And yes, taking Jimmy back to the same prison where the leak might have come from-bloody ridiculous.

Lakewell referred to him as Ironside when he was in the wheelchair. It was really funny. 🤣😂

I liked Lakewell, even though he was a baddie. Poor Jimmy. 😢

I think Chloe may be bent, for the simple reason as said before she was the only one who witnessed James say at the end of the interview “I didn’t say anything did I di arnott, did I” and Steve pauses, stares at him then nods quickly. The camera then cuts to Chloe staring at Steve.

So I think she guessed James talked to steve and leaked it. And got James killed.

If so then Steve is next

Does anyone remember, the depot robberies, one was drugs on the way to the incinerator and another was the cache of weapons? was there a big haul of cash too?

Just saw this @YerGrannysNightdress (hope I’ve tagged the right person!) - yep, drugs in the opening episode (where Lisa faked the trapped baby), then the gun haul soon after. The third one was a raid on eastfield depot itself rather than a transfer, and it was a mix of all sorts of evidence, seized stuff like drugs, bullion etc - £50m worth. That’s the haul Ted gets them to take him to when he does his reckless undercover stunt

S5 was my least fave tbh. Too many raids :o

I am surprised that the prison transfer was not followed by helicopter 🚁 or drone. MOG it’s the 21st century.

Other than the Lakeside dig about Steve's height there was another - when Steph said Steve reminded her of john - Steve said something about other than both being short-arses!!

I did wonder if that was written in or if Martin Compston added it in!!
