Hope no one minds me starting a new thread as 4 was filled on one episode.

Ted has been the police so long that they won't necessarily have his DNA on file from him joining. He was arrested and interviewed last series so his DNA may be on the nominal database from then.

Maybe the scriptwriters will be really spoiling us, and we'll get to see they dying declaration yet again.

Any other body parts he could possibly be signalling with? Feet maybe?

It could be how they found out about the plan to move Lakewell in time to get the attack ready and in a good spot. So I really hope they dint say the name of whoever is the partial match out loud!

He would be a nominal on the database though. Being deep undercover, his details would be wiped from the police database.

New to the threads but I had a revelation the other night... Does anyone remember the nice PC in series one who gave Ryan his card after returning him to his mum? Could he have become disillusioned with the force and turned bad? I cant even remember his name but it could be a possibility?

I'm not sure whether he needed to be involved. Hilton told The Caddy in S1 the police needed more like him, so perhaps Dot started the ball rolling then. It's a long term investment, so OCG would have to wait until they found a good, loyal candidate who was both up for and up to the role.

Ann Marie had one son (Corbett) who was adopted at ten years old.

Jo, I think would probably be older than Corbett (they said when they found his body that he was late 30s/40.
There was never any mention of a sibling...Ted said he never met the lad because he was always with a neighbour/baby sitter when he saw Ann Marie. And he swore blind (Mother of God) that he didn't sleep with Ann Marie because he was married.
But, who knows...?

Also, she went missing in 1989, which would have been very early for DNA records (and what would sge have been arrested for?)

But I do think she could be Jo's mother.

Corbett and Jo were however born within a couple of months of each other in 1979. Which shouid be a show-stopper of anobstacle.

But - Jo's OCG comms screen name is user1976. What if Jo isn't Jo? Who is she, and when how and why did the change of identity begin?
